When incorporated from the very start of growth, VitaLink Hydrate will help plants through periods of water stress - it could mean the difference between crop failure, or success.

  • Helps plants cope in periods of drought
  • Encourages side shoot growth and longer, bigger roots for stronger, bushier plants and larger yields
  • Use as a foliar application for faster protection in sudden/unexpected drought
  • Can be used with any growing medium/system, crop type and both hard or soft water

Designed for plants that are being grown with a risk of interruption to water or nutrient supply, Vitalink Hydrate can be a vital aid to growing, providing stress relief and increased protection against the negative effects of drought. It does this by facilitating the storage of carbohydrates and sugars which can be used in times of need, allowing plants to thrive and survive for increased periods of time in times of limited water supply or drought.

VitaLink Hydrate is an advanced bio-stimulant for growers that want to achieve maximum yield, cost-effectively. A unique product from UK based manufacturers VitaLink, that not only protects against drought stress but actively helps plants to thrive and prosper in these unwanted conditions. An advanced technology, it contains ligno-polycarboxylates and betaines to protect against drought stress, gibberellins and auxins (plant growth hormones) to help the growth side of things, together with sulphur, amino acids and humic acids which all help ensure the plant's internal processes are functioning effectively.

VitaLink Hydrate allows plants to produce more growth hormone - enabling side shoots to grow on at a time when main-stem vertical growth is restricted/prevented as a plant defence response to the lack of water. This means instead of shutting up shop when the climate is too dry, plants can keep growing side shoots (as a minimum), ultimately delivering shorter, stockier, bushier plants - ideal for many plant types, and something which is then positively reflected in increased yield size, and quality.

Highly concentrated (1L of VitaLink Hydrate makes at least 1600L of solution) and offering fantastic value for money, one of Hydrate's main ways of preventing drought stress is in its ability to prevent flower abortion (when a plant purposefully drops a flower (before maturation) due to some form of stress). No/reduced flower drop means more flower sites, and more flower sites means heavier fruit/flower yields. It's easy to see why some of our customers swear by it, and is more or less a must when growing indoor/greenhouses/polytunnels in the summer months, which are getting more extreme each year.

How to use VitaLink Hydrate:

  • VitaLink Hydrate is most effective when used regularly, a week or two before temperatures increase. This cumulative effect allows plants to slowly build a tolerance to periods of drought.
  • If using alongside VitaLink Heat OR Vitalink Chill ONLY use a half dose of EACH; otherwise, there is a risk of plant damage.
  • For all applications: Use from the early vegetative phase until late flowering, allowing one week for crop flushing. Apply at a dilution rate of 0.2-0.6ml per litre of water/nutrient solution. Dosage should reflect the risk of drought - apply regularly in low on-going drought risk at a rate of 0.2ml/L, medium risk at 0.4ml/L and high drought risk at 0.6ml/L. Ensure you stir well.
  • For sudden drought/fast protection: VitaLink Chill can also be used as a faster-acting foliar application - apply at a dilution rate of 5ml per litre of water, weekly. Do not spray to run off. Foliar application is not as effective as slowly building up your plants' tolerance gradually (see point above), but it could very well save an otherwise lost crop.
  • Please refer to the feed schedule for more information (see downloads below).

Best Practices:

  • Always use clean measuring instruments.
  • Optimal pH range: 5.8 - 6.5
  • For best results, monitor EC regularly and adjust accordingly based on crop type and growth stage.
  • Store away from direct sunlight (dark ideally), closed in it's original packaging between 5ƒ€š‚°C and 25ƒ€š‚°C.
  • Once open, use within 6 months for best results. Use within 2 years of production date.

UK based manufacturers VitaLink are a solid brand, and have been producing a range of nutrients and additives for many years now, offering good quality, consistent results. VitaLink Hydrate (alongside VitaLink Chill and VitaLink Heat) are stand-alone products as far as we know in terms of their effectiveness at dealing with, and actively helping plants to thrive in extreme environments, drought in VitaLink Hydrate's case. It's highly concentrated, too, so goes a long way, and all at a very reasonable price indeed - a bit of a no-brainer if you're one of many who are unable to check their crops as often as they'd like to, and would like to avoid any nasty surprises. Recommended.

Good value replacement parts package
Size: 2+6+1+12 Pack
Purchasing the Replacement Parts for my Eufy RoboVac 11S Max has proven to be an excellent value for the cost. The kit, which includes brushes and a filter, has significantly extended the life and maintained the efficiency of my vacuum. It's reassuring to know that I can keep my RoboVac performing at its best without the need for costly professional services or a premature replacement of the unit itself. The ease of replacing the parts meant that my vacuum was back to its optimal cleaning performance in no time. For anyone looking to maintain their Eufy RoboVac 11S Max in top condition, these replacement parts are a wise and economical choice.

Exceptional Hardware, Subpar Software
TL;DR: Exceptional hardware quality but lacking in software performance. Great, consistent cleaning performance from the Cyclonic dust bin and exceptional mopping performance with the Roller mop but navigation issues reduces the effectiveness of the robot. App is buggy on android. Great for most people, robot will struggle on complex floorplans. For $1400-$1700 this robot should be perfect but with the flaws that it currently has, it should be priced at $1000 or lower. I purchased the S2 to compare against a Roborock Saros 20 that I also recently purchased. My goal was to find a robot that works well for my complex floor plan that has a sunken living room which is accessible by a ramp. We also own three cats which shed plenty of hair and leave toys on the floor. What really impressed me with the Eufy s2 was not the roller mop but rather the commitment to consistent suction performance with the Cyclonic onboard dust bin. Unlike other brands, this robot can deep clean carpets, extract dust and not cake its filter with dust. All the other brands such as Dreame and Roborock claim insane suction numbers but those numbers are not attainable in the real-world since their filter clog with dust and cat litter so quickly. The dustbin on the S2 was exceptional in my testing and stayed perfectly clean even after a week of nightly runs. My saros 20 cakes its filter within a few days. This results in the S2 being great at deep cleaning carpets and floors and prevents the mop from picking up potentially abrasive debris. Great work in this regard from Eufy and glad to see some real innovation in the space. Overall the robot feels very high quality. The dock is solid and the tanks feel expensive. The robot is heavy, looks great and feels high quality. The mopping system is well designed and makes every part easy to service unlike other roller mop robots. Seems like a lot of thought was put into the design of each part in the robot and all the hardware. Obstacle avoidance is also exceptional, it works significantly better than my Saros 20 at not eating cat toys and cords and is easily a top performer in the class. Battery life is good, but slightly worse than My saros 20 but significantly better than my old Mova Z60. It can clean roughly 600sqft on a charge with ~200sqft being on turbo suction. Overall good battery performance. Where it falls short though is navigation performance. The robot would quite frequently get confused with my floor plan and had trouble navigating the ramp into my sunken living room which the saros 20 has no trouble using. Also the Eufy app does not let you mark on the map the location of a ramp or threshold so I can't even tell the robot the ramp is there. Other brands have apps that let you mark where a ramp or threshold is so the robot can change its strategy for traversing but Eufy is lacking in that regard. The poor navigation performance results in slightly worse battery life since the robot get confused and recleans areas but this is something eufy can fix with a software update. My other issue with this robot is that it cannot fit under my couch which has 4.125in (10.4cm) of clearance. The Saros 20 being significantly thinner and not having a roller mop easily fits under. The Eufy s2 being one of the thinnest roller mops available could fit but the robot refuses to go under even on the most aggressive clearance setting. I reached out to eufy support and they simply said the robot cannot fit under obstacles of that height which is a reasonable response since the robot could damage itself in some cases. Just doesn't work for my use case and this statistic should have been advertised so I could make an informed purchasing decision. So while the hardware is top of class, the software is really lacking on this robot. The app is quite buggy on android, having to open and close it multiple times to be able to edit the map successfully. The app experience overall feels like its missing lots of features and settings which Roborock and Dreame such as threshold/ramp marking. Navigation definitely needs some work. I think most people would be very happy with this robot and its consistent cleaning performance. Unfortunately for my floor plan it does not work and the Saros 20 is the better option for me. I really wanted to keep the Eufy s2 due to its superior roller mop and cyclonic dust bin and I really appreciate Eufy pushing the robot vacuum market forward with hardware innovations such as the Roller mop and cyclonic dust bin but they really need to work on software in order to completely beat their competitors.
