The Tamiya 1/12 Honda VFR750R RC30 (14057) reproduces the Honda RC30 — the legendary homologation superbike that Honda built to go racing in the newly formed World Superbike Championship. The VFR750R used Honda's V4 engine layout with gear-driven cams, titanium connecting rods, and other exotic specification to produce a race-ready road bike that won the first World Superbike Championship with Fred Merkel in 1988 and 1989.
