He stands 21 inches (53.34cm) tall and 7 inches (17.78 cm) wide at his widest point, which of course is his moustache. You can see the chisel marks all over this carving, which is pretty interesting. The details to the face with his wrinkles and lines in his moustache are excellent. This really is a special piece that someone has put a lot of time into. The head alone stands approx.15 inches (38.1cm) tall, with the base that is just over 5 inches (12.7cm) in height. There are a few slight cracks in the pine, these do not go all the way through the solid carving. There is a hole that someone made into the base, on one side. This may have been for mounting purposes but we are unsure. Overall, a unique offering in great shape.
