Veteran Bring Back German WWII Eastern People’s Award-This is a 2nd Class in Gold w/o Swords. These were awarded in two different classes (1st and 2nd) at three different levels (bronze, silver, gold) for both bravery (with swords) and service (without swords) to Russian volunteers fighting under German leadership. This example is an award for service since it does not have swords. Both the obverse and reverse have lost all of the original gold finish, with minor wear showing on the highlights. The ring that holds the ribbon retains the gold finish. The portion of ribbon is still very clean and bright. The pin functions perfectly. We were able to purchase this from a US veteran. We will supply the buyer with the name of this soldier.
