With miles racking up in your 6.6L GMC or Chevrolet Duramax, it may be time to reseal the head gasket of your engine. The Cometic MLX Head Gasket is exactly what you need. The MLX line of gaskets are great for stock or performance builds and uses multiple layers of corrosion resistant stainless steel for increased strength. The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated with a flouroelastomer rubber based material that is heat resistant to 482 degrees. This material is designed to meet the demands of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. The center layer or shim layer is a stainless steel layer that is folded back upon itself to create the locking portion of the bore seal. Cometic Head Gaskets are designed for a strong seal you can trust in your diesel engine. Right side only.
