While the side steps mount onto the cab portion of the pickup truck, the box extensions mount onto the sides of the truck bed. They are intended to provide safe, easy access to the truck bed, whether for cargo, a 5th wheel hitch, a ladder rack or a truck tool box. These truck bed side steps are made with tough polyethylene step pads and hard black plastic end caps for a bold accent. The step pads feature a textured, non-skid surface, offering dependable traction and comfortable footing, even in wet or muddy conditions.
