Flavor and Aroma Profile

  • Flavor Profile: Offers a robust, classic garlic flavor with a mild initial heat and a savory finish. Perfect for all-purpose use—from raw preparations to roasted dishes. Less pungent than hardneck varieties, it’s a dependable kitchen staple.

  • Aroma Profile: Emits a fresh, slightly sweet garlic aroma when chopped. The scent intensifies when cooked, adding warm, aromatic depth to meals without overpowering other flavors.

Planting Time

California Late White is planted in fall (September–November) and harvested in early to midsummer. Fall planting promotes strong root development before winter.

Scaping

As a softneck garlic, this variety does not produce scapes. Energy goes directly into bulb production, enhancing size and storage life. Flexible stems make it ideal for braiding.

Storage and Preservation

How to Store Fresh Garlic

After harvesting, cure the bulbs in a dry, shaded, well-ventilated space until the stalks are brown and papery. Store braided garlic or trimmed bulbs in mesh bags in a cool, dry area to maintain quality and flavor for 8–12 months.

Preserving Garlic for Long-Term Use

Ensure the bulbs are fully cured before storage. Trim roots and tops, then store in breathable containers. Proper storage extends shelf life and preserves the garlic's rich, savory flavor for year-round culinary use.

Best Practices for Drying and Freezing

Once cured, garlic can be frozen whole, as peeled cloves, or minced. Avoid freezing fresh, uncured garlic due to its moisture content, which can lead to texture loss and diminished flavor upon thawing.

These are cheaply made, and garbage, highly dangerous letting a dog chew on a battery pack
Color: Grid Pattern
These units are garbage. I got one for each of my dogs charged it up turned it on put it inside the rubberized ball shell and securely fastened it less than two minutes later my dog had taken it apart by just biting it and then started to chew on the battery and motor unit. So if you wanna have a lithium polymer fire in your house and potentially kill your animal, go ahead and get this, but if you do not want a fire in your house and you want your animal to live then absolutely do not buy this garbage it’s cheap we made and it’s not strong enough for any dog

Good Product, but images over promise just a little.
Color: Ripple Pattern
- Performs well on tile and low pile carpet. On artificial grass it doesn’t roll even on the highest setting; it only vibrates. Watch the video. - Still fun for my pup. I’ve only had it a day so no clue about durability although my dog is a strong chewer. - Price Value: When purchased it was 2 balls for the same price of a single ball from competitor. - Material feels like a Nerf football. Easy to disassemble and charge.

Best jiggle balls we have found thus far
Color: Ripple Pattern
Yes ! First off this was a great value for the money. The balls function just as described and they have a decent battery life. They entertain both our goldens for a good bit of time. They have so far held up and not been chewed up . We limit the time and put them away after that time.. to avoid them being destroyed. Of all the jiggle balls we have purchased these are by far the best. The way the component is encased in the rubber protects it.. and it screws together very well. I am so pleased with these !

Perfect for Blind Dogs, Fun and Durable
Size: 2-pack, Style: Duo
My blind dog loves these Chuckit! sniff balls. She can easily sniff them out and plays fetch with them for 20 minutes a day, even running up and down the stairs. The balls are durable, bounce well, and the bacon and peanut butter scent keeps her engaged. I do wish Chuckit! would bring back the version with a tone so we could play fetch outside more easily. Overall, a fantastic toy for dogs that rely on scent and a fun way to keep them active.
