The Rogue’s Fortune - Cat Schield

Elizabeth Minerva tries to steer clear of legendary adventurer Roark Black and focus on her career and her attempts at motherhood. But the rakish treasure hunter can help her in her quest to be a single mum, if she’ll do him one tiny favor...

To save his beloved auction house and his own reputation from ruin, Roark needs to settle down fast — with a sensible woman. After a six-month ‘engagement’, he and Elizabeth can go their separate ways.

But Roark knows priceless objects, and Elizabeth is the real deal. Now he intends to keep her...by any means necessary.

A Beauty For The Billionaire- Elizabeth Bevarly

When blue-collar garage owner Hogan Dempsey discovers he’s the long-lost heir to a fortune, it’s his chance to woo the Park Avenue princess who was out of his league growing up. To get her attention, he’s hired society chef Chloe Merlin, hoping she’ll tempt the socialite with her favorite treats. But Hogan’s the one who’s tempted — and not by the food. His craving for Chloe puts his plans for the princess on the back burner. Too bad Chloe’s sworn off men for good. Or will Hogan’s rough-and-tumble charm stir her appetite?

His Bride By Design - Teresa Hill

Wedding-dress designer Chloe Allen had it all — her first celebrity client, a debut New York fashion show, even a happy engagement...her third, but who was counting? Then a catwalk catfight revealed her fiancé’s cheating ways, and the media had a field day. To be painted as unlucky in love was a curse in her profession.

As brides-to-be rioted to return their Chloe originals, Fiancé No. 2 rode to her rescue. Financier James Elliott IV couldn’t let her — or his secret investment in her business — suffer. They would play up a reunion romance for the cameras and get Chloe back on track. He had it all sewn up—but would their tabloid tableau vivant turn into the real deal?

Perfect for End of School Year!
Format: Paperback
I purchased this book because I was chosen as the last mystery reader before summer break for my daughter’s class. The book was sweet, appropriate, and nostalgic. The kids and teacher really enjoyed!

Love, love, love this book as an adult. What great memories it brings back, so many specific ones are included. My grandkids love it too, "That's just what we do!", they say excitedly.

Everyone Can Use A Little Assistance With Manners
Format: Hardcover
"Manners Can Be Fun" covers basics like introductions, please and thank you, being responsible in the home you live in and table manners. It's the illustrations, however, which get the point across and hit the reader over the head. No matter your age, the cute drawings really let one see what others experience when you behave badly. The basics of what's important in life are put into perspective and appreciated all over again. Playing, saying "hello" and so many other topics pertinent to etiquette and consideration are placed on Mr. Leaf's pages in quick, precise prose which encourage action. Munro Leaf's description of The Noisey's, The Pigs, Me First, Whineys, Smash, Rip, Ruin and others assist young and old of what to do around others and what not to do. It's basic, it's short and sweet, it's truly a classic. Like all classics, "Manners Can Be Fun" has not gone out of style. Many thanks to Universe Publishing for placing this wonderful book back on the shelves and into our hands.

A classic for the kids in your family.
Format: Hardcover
This is a classic book of manners written for youngsters. I had a copy a copy when I was a child, read it to my children, gave it to my grandchildren and purchased this copy for my great grandchildren. Necessary lessons are presented simply with illustrations one won’t forget. The lesson I remember most is this: “Be kind to animals. They have feelings too.” Most highly recommend.

Great message that the kids listen to
Format: Hardcover
I love the message and my kids (3 and 5) find it credible and engaging, so it's a win all around. I find the illustrations (which are either done by a 5 year old or an adult as talented an artist as I am) painful but I give the text 6 out of 5 stars so when I take a star off for the over-the-top illustrations we're still at 5/5 ;) Kids who have greater access to exclusively modern media with intense graphics may not be able to relate to the material: the graphics are a big hurdle and the text is pretty dated too. I'm sure an updated version would be even more engaging for my kids but what it lacks in exciting, current graphics it makes up for in specificity and clarity for my two.
