Clear labels, real pumps, and steady energy with layered caffeine

Insane Labz Psychotic Clear is a straightforward pre-workout with moderate stims. The idea is simple: give you enough pump, stamina, and focus to make your workouts better, and deliver energy from different caffeine types instead of one big blast. No hidden blends here—everything's listed out, which is a big step up from those old-school pre-workouts that hype the label more than the ingredients.

It starts with 6g of L-Citrulline Malate 2:1. That's key because citrulline boosts nitric oxide, which is a gas that helps widen blood vessels for better flow. It turns into arginine in your body better than taking arginine straight, leading to more blood flow, nutrient delivery, and that pump you feel during lifts. Since it's 2:1 with malate, you're getting about 4g of actual citrulline—not pure 6g—but it's still a solid dose, way better than the skimpy 3-4g in most stuff.

Beta-Alanine is at 3.2g, the standard dose from studies that helps build up carnosine in muscles. Carnosine fights the acid buildup that causes that burn, so you can go longer in sets. First day, you might get those tingles. After 2-4 weeks of steady use, it really shines for hypertrophy, supersets, and high-rep training.

Betaine Anhydrous is at 2.5g, matching what's used in a lot of performance studies. Betaine is an osmolyte, meaning it helps cells keep water balance, and it boosts power, how much you can lift in a session, and muscle stamina for back-to-back efforts.

Insane Labz Psychotic by Insane Labz contains 6g L-Citrulline Malate 2:1, a clinical dose for training performance and pump.

Key Highlights

  • 6,000mg L-Citrulline Malate 2:1 is the pump foundation here. It boosts arginine levels better than straight arginine, kicking up nitric oxide for wider blood vessels, better flow, and that full pump you see and feel during sets.
  • 3,200mg Beta-Alanine hits the proven daily dose from research. This isn't just for looks—it's the amount that builds muscle carnosine over time, making hard sets feel like you can squeeze out more reps before the burn hits hard.
  • 2,500mg Betaine Anhydrous matches what studies use for performance. It acts as an osmolyte to keep cell fluids balanced, while helping with power, total workout volume, and keeping muscles going strong through repeats.
  • 1,000mg Agmatine Sulfate is a real pump booster, not a weak add-in. At a full gram, it teams up with citrulline to amp nitric oxide signals, giving that dense, tight pump experienced lifters chase.
  • 400mg Alpha GPC 50% delivers about 200mg active Alpha GPC for sharper focus and better mind-muscle link. It supports acetylcholine, the brain chemical for attention and drive, making workouts feel more locked in and purposeful.
  • 150mg Caffeine Anhydrous gives that quick energy boost you notice right away. It's the fast one that ramps up motivation, alertness, and intensity early in your pre-workout window.
  • 75mg Infinergy™ Di-Caffeine Malate smooths out the energy ride compared to plain caffeine. The malate slows it down a bit, cutting that harsh peak and crash that leaves you dragging mid-workout.
  • 75mg Caffeine Citrate finishes the stim setup with another quick caffeine hit. It helps the formula kick in early, while the others keep the energy going longer into your session.

Insane Labz Psychotic by Insane Labz contains 6g L-Citrulline Malate 2:1, a clinical dose for training performance and pump.

Who Is This For?

  • Intermediate bodybuilders on high-volume plans needing more than buzz. 6g citrulline malate, 1g agmatine, 2.5g betaine deliver pumps, density, and output for short rests and lots of sets.
  • Powerbuilders mixing heavies and accessories. Caffeine boosts intensity and focus, but beta-alanine, betaine, citrulline keep performance up after big lifts.
  • Folks who like a kick but hate over-the-top pre's. Around 244mg caffeine from three sources is energizing but usually chill compared to 350-400mg bombs that leave you jittery.
  • After-work trainers needing motivation without frying nerves. Alpha GPC 50% and layered caffeine make it focused for evenings, not harsh like high-stims.
  • Upgraders from hidden-blend pre's wanting real doses. See exact citrulline, beta-alanine, betaine, agmatine, caffeine—no trusting mystery blends.
  • Pump chasers who dig the feel, not just weights. Citrulline malate and agmatine handle flow, betaine adds hydration for dense sessions.

How to Use

Mix 1 scoop in 10-14 oz cold water, drink 20-30 minutes pre-lift. Timing counts with the caffeine types: citrate and anhydrous hit quick, Infinergy™ extends it. If you're new or stim-sensitive, half-scoop first to test. Shaker beats stirring for even mix on this 16g scoop with aminos. Empty stomach makes it faster and stronger; after food softens it. Don't stack with other high-stims, burners, or tons of coffee unless you handle caffeine well. Pair with daily creatine and good hydration—betaine and pumps love that. No need to cycle non-stims hard, but caffeine breaks keep you sensitive. Keep tub sealed, cool, dry to avoid clumps.

What to Expect

First 0-10 minutes, it mixes easy and stims start lightly from citrate and anhydrous. 10-20 minutes in, it ramps: energy up, motivation hits, maybe skin tingles if beta-alanine gets you. 20-40 minutes is prime time—caffeine blend, Alpha GPC, and pumps make lifting sharp and full. 40-90 minutes, Infinergy™ keeps it steady, better than one-shot caffeine pre's. Days 1-7, you feel energy, focus, pump most; beta-alanine is still loading. Weeks 2-4, with regular use, endurance kicks in—workouts aren't easier, but fatigue doesn't rob the end as much.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is actually in Psychotic Clear?

The label uses three caffeine sources: 150mg caffeine anhydrous, 75mg Infinergy™ di-caffeine malate, and 75mg caffeine citrate. Because di-caffeine malate and caffeine citrate are not 100% caffeine by weight, the active caffeine yield is about 243.75mg total, not a full 300mg pure caffeine payload.

Is 6g of citrulline malate the same as 6g of pure L-citrulline?

No. This is L-Citrulline Malate 2:1, which means part of the 6g is malic acid and part is citrulline. The active citrulline yield is roughly 4g, so it is still a meaningful dose, but not equivalent to 6g pure L-citrulline.

What will I feel first when I take Psychotic Clear?

Most users notice rising alertness and motivation first from the caffeine citrate and caffeine anhydrous. If you are sensitive to beta-alanine, you may also feel a tingling sensation in the skin within 10-20 minutes.

Is this a high-stim pre-workout?

No, it sits more accurately in the moderate-stim category. The caffeine system is well-designed and noticeable, but the active caffeine total is closer to 244mg than the ultra-aggressive 350-400mg range seen in high-stim formulas.

Why does Psychotic Clear use three forms of caffeine?

The goal is a more layered energy profile. Caffeine anhydrous provides a familiar fast onset, caffeine citrate is also rapidly absorbed, and Infinergy™ di-caffeine malate is positioned to give a more buffered, sustained release so the workout does not peak too early.

Is the beta-alanine dose effective here?

Yes. At 3.2g, the formula meets the classic daily intake level used in studies showing increased muscle carnosine over time. That matters for buffering acid buildup and improving repeated-effort performance during hard training.

Is the Alpha GPC dose fully loaded?

It is useful, but not elite-dosed in active choline terms. The label lists 400mg of Alpha GPC 50%, which yields about 200mg active Alpha GPC; that can still support focus, but it is below the stronger 300-600mg actual Alpha GPC range seen in some premium nootropic-heavy pre-workouts.

Can I stack Psychotic Clear with creatine?

Yes, and that is a smart stack. This formula does not include creatine, so adding 3-5g creatine monohydrate daily complements beta-alanine and betaine by supporting phosphocreatine recycling, high-intensity output, and longer-term strength progression.

Do I need to cycle Psychotic Clear?

You do not need to cycle ingredients like citrulline, betaine, or beta-alanine in the strict sense. The main reason to take breaks is caffeine tolerance: periodic stim deloads can help you preserve sensitivity to the multi-source caffeine blend.

Is this product fully transparent?

Yes on the active formula. There are no proprietary blends hiding active ingredient amounts, so you can see the exact doses of citrulline malate, beta-alanine, betaine, agmatine, Alpha GPC, and each caffeine source.

Fast paced romantasy you will not want to put down!
Format: Kindle
4.25 stars! I LOVED this book with similar vibes to Hush Hush, Fourth Wing, and The Serpent and the Wings of Night! It was fast paced with easy world building and will keep you turning the pages late into the night because you will not want to put it down! Huntyr is a fierce bad@ss FMC trained to kill vampyres her entire life. She is sent on a mission to go to the academy and earn her spot into The Golden City. Upon arrival, she is forced to room with the delicious fallen angel, Wolf, who is the only one who knows about her assassin identity. The romance, the plot twists, the secrets revealed, the battles, and the tantalizing training scenes had me hooked! And that ending…. I’m holding my breath in need to know hell! Read if you love: 🪽 Fae, Vampyres, Fallen Angels 🪽 Academy setting with magical trials 🪽 Forced proximity and slow burn 🪽 Rivals to lovers 🪽 Hidden identities and secrets 🪽 Tend your wounds “𝘖𝘧 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶. Excellent Rivals to Lovers!!
Format: Kindle
The tension and banter between Huntyr and Wold was delectable. I absolutely love the fallen angel and all of his flaws. Huntyr is amazing too being a badass FMC with some major trauma. The world building was great and I enjoyed the training aspect of the story. The writing was immersive and was in the story the whole time. The ending had quite a twist that I hadn’t anticipated and made my jaw DROP. Excellent job! I also loved the narration. Laura is one of my fave narrators!

Fallen Angels, fae, vampires, oh my!
Format: Kindle
Rating: 4.5 | Spice: 2 (but a good slow-burn) • Main Characters: Huntyr and Wolf • I couldn’t wait to read this book; there was so much hype about it! And there was no doubt why. I fell in love with the characters and the plot itself. This book is mainly plot driven more than friction driven but it’s easy to follow along with. The characters are fun, easily understood. The main setting is at an academy where both the main characters are going through trials and building strength for the final test, The Transcendent. There are fantastic side characters as well. I loved the camaraderie between Huntyr and her friends. But we don’t like Lanson. 😆 We do have some plot twists that come into play throughout the book. Secrets and betrayal to be seen. I did adore Wolf and Huntyr’s relationship. It was a classic slow burn trope. They didn’t hit it off fast, but in time their feelings grew. I loved their banter, so sexy. Wolf is your next book boyfriend; Huntyr is your next vampire assassin independent bad-a*s female. Themes include loyalty, trust, self-discovery, a true slow burn romance. Side note: book ends on a angsty cliffhanger! • Emily, thank you for writing this awesome novel and I cannot wait to devour Book 2, Blood So Brutal! 😍 • Happy reading, my lovelies! xo

“My heart bows to you and you only, Huntress.”
Format: Kindle
3.5 🌟 This book popped up in my KU recommended reading suggestions and the synopsis sounded like what I was in the mood for. I'm so glad I took a chance on it. I went into this knowing absolutely nothing about it and ended up really liking it. I love when this happens. The main characters are likeable and I easily found myself rooting for them. There is a mystery element to each of their backstories that I enjoyed watching unfold and can't wait to get more of. Wolf, in particular, has me fixated. Love him. I found this to be an entertaining, addictive read with a plot that moves along at a good pace. It reads so easily I found myself very reluctant to put it down. Lots of twists and turns and the angst is there. A good set up for the next book to come, for sure. My issues with this book....the dialogue feels a bit juvenile at times and there is a repetitive over use of a particular word phrasing that I found myself giving the ole eye-roll to. There are, without a doubt, some pretty cliche moments that gave me a bit of the cringe. I think this could've certainly 100% benefited from more depth regarding the world building. Perhaps the world building was sacrificed to keep the pacing quick? Just a guess. Also, the lack of consistency of character for the FMC was really evident and so she feels quite illogical at times. Overall, this was a fun and enjoyable read that hit the spot well enough for me. That ending certainly has me impatiently pining for book 2!

Interesting take on the genre
Format: Kindle
True rating: 3.25 ⭐️ I enjoyed the fresh take on the genre. The best way I could describe the setting and world is an apocalyptic dystopian version of Farie where vampires, fae, and angles struggle to survive in what is left of the world. It was definitely interesting throwing the academy/hunger games aspect into this world as well. Even though I guessed the final reveal early on in the book, I kept hoping I was wrong, and it would take a surprising turn. While the "plot twists" were a bit predictable to me, I still enjoyed the ride this book took me on. Another downfall for me was the plot holes in the world building... I.E. if society has fallen and the world is in the aftermath of war, how are there trains running around the world? Just to take young adults to the trials to get into the golden city? How is the train maintained, the tracks clear, etc? However, I did enjoy the FMC & MMC and thought they were fleshed out nicely. I also enjoyed the side characters but wish some were developed more like Ashalin (sp?). I do find myself rooting for the MCs to succeed and find happiness together, which is obviously an important aspect for romantasy. Overall, was this an earth-shattering, mind-bending, terrific piece of literature? No. But was it the worst thing I've read this year? Also, no. This book has, to me, the bones of a great read & just needs a bit more to push it from an alright book to a great book. Overall ratings: Plot- 3.5⭐️ World building 3⭐️ Spice 2.5 🌶🌶 Main characters 4 ⭐️ Supporting characters 3.5⭐️
