A unique tank design allows the larger CSF core to still fit into the OEM cooling system housing. The CSF improved design, includes billet transmission cooler mounts, and metal rock guard with improved airflow characteristics. Airflow
A very nice sturdy and colorful filter. The only drawback I have is I think the carbon medium is so thick that it does restricts the airflow a bit. I do notice the air is filtered better than my previous filter, which is why I am keeping it.

Too restrictive!
If you like air flow do not buy this filter. I put it in my 2020 Super duty and had very little air coming out with the fan as high as it would go. Stopped and bought the standard Microguard from Orielly's. I changed it in the parking lot and Bam!!! back to blowing my hat off!
