Victron 12V Cigarette Lighter Plug with Integrated 16A Fuse for IP65 Battery Chargers

Reliable Vehicle Battery Charging via the Cigarette Lighter Socket

The Victron 12V Cigarette Lighter Plug is a purpose-built accessory for the Blue Smart IP65 Charger range with DC connector, enabling convenient and safe battery charging directly through your vehicle's 12V cigarette lighter socket. This plug is ideal for maintaining starter or auxiliary batteries in cars, 4WDs, caravans, and boats without needing direct access to the battery terminals.

Engineered to Victron's professional standards, this plug features an integrated 16A fast-blow M205 fuse housed within the plug body, providing essential overcurrent protection for both the charger and the vehicle's electrical circuit. The removable red collar allows compatibility with different socket depths, ensuring a secure connection in a wide range of vehicles.

The polarised quick-connect plug with a protective cap mates securely with the DC output of compatible IP65 chargers, preventing accidental reverse polarity and protecting the connector when not in use. This design reduces the risk of short circuits and ensures a reliable, long-lasting connection.

Key Features

  • Integrated 16A M205 fuse protects against overcurrent, safeguarding your charger and vehicle wiring
  • Removable red collar adapts to shallow or deep 12V sockets for a firm fit
  • Polarised quick-connect plug with protective cap prevents reverse polarity and connector damage
  • Compatible with Victron Blue Smart IP65 chargers featuring a DC connector
  • Durable construction designed for frequent use in automotive and marine environments

Designed for Convenient, Fuse-Protected Charging

Unlike generic cigarette lighter plugs, this Victron accessory is specifically engineered for the demands of battery charging. The built-in 16A fuse eliminates the need for external fuse holders, reducing installation complexity and potential failure points. The fast-blow characteristic ensures rapid response to overcurrent conditions, protecting sensitive electronics in modern vehicles.

The plug's robust design withstands vibration and temperature variations common in engine bays and cabins, making it suitable for permanent or temporary charging setups. Whether you're maintaining a battery during storage or topping up after a weekend away, this plug provides a secure, low-resistance connection that minimises voltage drop.

Applications

  • Charging starter or auxiliary batteries in cars, 4WDs, and SUVs
  • Maintaining batteries in caravans, camper trailers, and motorhomes
  • Marine battery charging via 12V sockets on boats and yachts
  • Workshop use for battery maintenance without opening the bonnet

Good Space Savings, but the Bag Zippers don't hold very well
Size: 15 Combo Travel Size
I purchased these Vacbird travel vacuum bags mainly to save space in carry-on luggage and cruise packing, and the overall concept works well. The included rechargeable air pump is compact and convenient for travel, and the compression bags can significantly reduce the amount of space taken up by clothing and soft items when sealed properly. The bags themselves are easy to fill and compress, and they can definitely help organize luggage more efficiently for longer trips. For bulky clothing like jackets, sweatshirts, or extra layers, the space savings are noticeable. The rechargeable pump is also more convenient than manually rolling air out of the bags repeatedly. The reason this isn’t a higher rating is the zipper closure quality. The zippers feel much weaker than they should for a product designed around repeated compression and travel handling. Several closures required extra care to avoid separating or leaking air, which reduces confidence in long-term durability. The system works, but the zipper design feels like the weak point and keeps the product from feeling as reliable as it otherwise could be.

Small fan, serious power
Color: Black
I bought the Honeywell Turboforce Fan for my bedroom, and I’m honestly impressed with how powerful this little thing is. Don’t let the compact size fool you — it moves a lot of air. On the lowest setting it’s perfect for a gentle breeze while sleeping, and the higher settings can easily cool down a medium-sized room or help circulate AC much more efficiently. The 90-degree pivoting head is a great feature. I can angle it upward for better air circulation or point it directly at me when it’s extra hot. It’s lightweight, easy to move around, and doesn’t take up much space on a desk or nightstand. It can also be wall-mounted, which is a nice bonus. Noise level is reasonable. On low, it’s actually a pleasant white noise. Medium and high are louder, but not in an annoying way — just the sound of strong airflow. Build quality feels solid for the price, and it’s been running daily without any issues. For the cost, this fan seriously overperforms. If you need a compact, affordable, and powerful fan, this is a no-brainer. I’d absolutely buy it again.

Great price and very quiet
Color: Black
I use the Honeywell TurboForce HT-900 in my home office to help with airflow around my computer setup, and it’s been a solid performer for the price. Despite its small size, it moves a surprising amount of air. On high, it pushes a strong, focused stream that actually reaches across the room. Medium is what I use most often since it balances good circulation with reasonable noise, and low is quiet enough to run in the background without being distracting. Noise levels are generally acceptable. Low and medium are fairly quiet with a consistent hum, while high is noticeably louder but still not unbearable for short bursts. It’s also very simple to position and use. The head tilts easily, so you can aim airflow exactly where you need it, and the compact size makes it easy to place on a desk without taking up much space. Overall, it’s a straightforward, no-frills fan that does its job well. Strong airflow, simple controls, and good value for the price.

Powerful and long lasting
Color: Black
I purchased a blue colored one in May 2022 and it finally went out a few days ago. I ran this thing almost constantly as im going through menopause and it came to be a staple at my bedside. 4 years of running ALL THE TIME! Great little fan with a ton of airflow to keep me cool during night sweats. And it has just enough white noise to distract from outside noise. Also, the motor power never differentiated after using for so long. It was still strong. I just ordered another one to replace it and cant wait for it to arrive so I can sleep again! Only thing is they only have bakck or white instead of blue this time but thats ok as long as it performs.
