Inspiration
In the deepest corner of history lies the legacy of Gerda Taro, a German-Jewish photojournalist whose courage and fearless spirit made her a symbol of bravery and determination. Her life intertwined with that of her partner, Robert Capa, in a story of love and adventure that led them to the battlefields of the Spanish Civil War.
“Taro” captures the essence of this alluring and bold woman, a figure who defied adversity and left an indelible mark on the history of photography and journalism. In each note, in each accord, we seek to reflect the spirit of Gerda Taro, a woman who dared to confront the world and make her mark on it.
Olfative notes
In the top notes the Pineapple, with its sweet freshness, represents her adventurous spirit, while the Saffron, with its direct and distinctive note, symbolizes her courage and passion for the truth.

While most Christmas books focus on Santa, his reindeer, etc, And Then Came Christmas focuses on the tell-tale signs and traditions that people partake in such as hanging wreaths, searching for the perfect tree to decorate, hanging twinkling lights, and lining up to see Santa!
This unique holiday read-aloud spans the entire 'season of Christmas', from the falling leaves and bare-branched trees to chilly days and glistening white snow and focuses on all our favorite things about Christmas!
