South Bend applies the Kevlar material to the pressure plate side and the carbonic material to the flywheel side of the clutch disc to deliver smooth shifting, yet great holding power.This style of clutch disc has proven itself in the semi's for the past 20 years. This clutch disc is designed to absorb the vibrations of the diesel and gives the capability of hauling heavy loads without causing premature disk failure. This clutch will handle up to 400 hp and 800 ft. lbs. of torque.

Helpful and interesting introduction

This is a good quick introduction. A good supplement to a course on modernist literature or art. What is important is that it shows the Modernist project as something that encompassed art, literature, psychology, science, and politics--in other words, it contextualizes the movement.
