This is a direct replacement pump for ease of installation and cost savings compared to most alternatives.We offer this pump as a bare piece to save you money. When sourced from Ford, you'll have to also purchase the mounting bracket, isolator pad, and wiring which is all typically unnecessary. With this pump, you'll merely transfer over any components and bolt it right up to the frame rail.
FACTORY PUMP OUTLET FITTING INFO:
If you are looking to install a factory BOSCH OEM replacement fuel pump in your 7.3L Ford Powerstroke, you may need this outlet fitting from Driven Diesel. In some cases, if the factory fuel pump was replaced with an aftermarket auto parts store pump, there is a good chance this outlet fitting was removed and thrown away with the old factory pump. Since Ford only sells the pump as a very expensive assembly, you can't go to them for this fitting. In order to help customers keep their repair costs down, Driven Diesel decided to reproduce this fitting.

Did not fit right out of box. Had to trim with scissors.

Good value. A little flimsy but pretty much what I expected. My only real complaint is that out of the box it did not drop right in to my Honda Odyssey. I had to trim the tabs on one end with scissors for it to fit in to the filter housing.

DIY - Save $$

Comparable item dealers provide, but if you can DIY, you’ll save $40-50 bucks installation. Helpful hint, before installing, take a market and put the date and mileage of the end of the filter. Unless you drive a lot, the filters generally last a year.
