I see Chad Connelly as a better red wine maker than white and this proves my theory once again - but I'm happy to be wrong. His wines speak of personality and joy with this latest bunch expressive and oozing interest.
Violets, blueberries and boysenberries cascade from the glass. It's earthy with flecks of charcoal and flanked by dark chocolate, blackcurrant jubes and the pitter-patter of fine spices.
A wine with a respectable length, this is absolutely fabulous on its own or throw it beside a rack of sticky barbecue ribs or some burgers. Great stuff.
Drink to five years.
