High-stim nootropic energy with tyrosine, Alpha-GPC, and Lion’s Mane

Day Spell is not a traditional pre-workout and it is not a soft, wellness-style nootropic. This is a high-stim cognitive performance powder designed around one clear philosophy: create aggressive daytime energy, heightened focus, and a fast-acting “on” switch by combining neurotransmitter precursors, cholinergic support, mushroom nootropics, B-vitamin cofactors, and a layered proprietary stimulant blend.

The transparent side of the formula is strongest in the nootropic backbone. L-Tyrosine is dosed at 1,000mg, which sits in the useful range for focus-oriented formulas even though many acute stress studies use larger bodyweight-based intakes. Mechanistically, tyrosine is the raw material for catecholamines like dopamine and norepinephrine. Under high mental or physical demand, that matters: caffeine can increase catecholamine signaling, and tyrosine helps ensure the precursor pool is available. In real use, that translates to a more task-driven, mentally “ready” experience rather than just nervous stimulation.

DMAE is included at 750mg. The evidence base here is limited, and that should be stated clearly, but this is still a substantial dose relative to typical nootropic formulas. DMAE is used for its potential role in alertness and mental clarity, often as part of a cholinergic strategy. Some users describe it as adding a crisp, head-up quality to the stimulant experience.

Organic Lion’s Mane Mushroom is dosed at 600mg, which is a meaningful inclusion for a formula aimed at daily cognitive performance. Lion’s Mane is popular for supporting nerve growth factor-related pathways and longer-horizon brain health positioning, though acute effects are subtler than caffeine. In this formula, it helps round out an otherwise very stimulant-forward profile.

Alpha-GPC (50%) is listed at 600mg, which yields approximately 300mg actual Alpha-GPC if the 50% standardization refers to active content. That makes this an effective, practical cholinergic dose for focus and mind-muscle connection, though it is not equivalent to 600mg of pure Alpha-GPC. Alpha-GPC supplies choline for acetylcholine synthesis, a neurotransmitter tied to attention, learning, and neuromuscular signaling. Paired with caffeine, it often produces a more dialed-in, productive type of energy rather than blunt stimulation alone.

The B-vitamin support is intelligently selected for energy metabolism and neurotransmitter chemistry: 30mg riboflavin, 25mg niacinamide, 10mg vitamin B6 as pyridoxal-5-phosphate, and 1mg methylcobalamin. The standout here is P-5-P, the active form of B6, because B6 is a cofactor in neurotransmitter synthesis pathways that help support the formula’s tyrosine-driven catecholamine strategy.

The formula becomes less transparent in the proprietary blend. Beta-phenylethylamine, caffeine anhydrous, hordenine HCl, caffeine citrate, pine bark, NeuroFactor™ whole coffee fruit extract, theophylline, and arecoline hydrobromide are all present, but the exact milligram amounts are not disclosed. That matters. You can identify the intended architecture: PEA for fast mood lift and urgency, hordenine to potentially prolong catecholaminergic signaling, dual caffeine forms for both immediate and rapid-onset energy, theophylline as another methylxanthine for bronchodilatory/stimulant support, pine bark for circulation/antioxidant support, and NeuroFactor™ for coffee fruit-derived cognitive support. But because the doses are hidden, you cannot verify each component against the literature with precision.

As a system, Day Spell is built to hit three pathways at once: catecholamine drive from tyrosine plus stimulants, acetylcholine support from Alpha-GPC and DMAE, and broader cognitive support from Lion’s Mane and NeuroFactor™. Day 1, expect a pronounced energy and focus effect with more mental push than pump. Over 2-4 weeks, the ingredients most likely to matter beyond the acute stimulant experience are Lion’s Mane and the routine consistency of the cholinergic/nootropic base. The biggest strength is the layered cognitive-stimulant design. The biggest limitation is simple: this is a proprietary high-stim formula, so experienced users will appreciate the architecture, but evidence-minded buyers should understand that exact stimulant exposure is not fully transparent.

Key Highlights

  • 1,000mg L-Tyrosine anchors the formula’s catecholamine support strategy. Tyrosine is the precursor to dopamine and norepinephrine, so it pairs logically with caffeine-driven stimulation when the goal is sharper focus under physical or mental stress.
  • 750mg DMAE is a substantial inclusion in a nootropic powder. While the evidence base is limited, this is the kind of dose used to create a distinctly alert, mentally upright feel rather than sprinkling it in for label decoration.
  • 600mg Organic Lion’s Mane gives Day Spell more depth than a standard stim formula. Lion’s Mane is commonly used to support cognitive function and longer-horizon neurological health positioning, helping the formula feel more purposeful than a simple caffeine blast.
  • 600mg Alpha-GPC (50%) adds a meaningful cholinergic component. If the 50% standardization reflects active content, that yields about 300mg actual Alpha-GPC, a useful range for focus, attention, and mind-muscle connection support.
  • Vitamin B6 is provided as Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate, the active coenzyme form. That matters because B6 is directly involved in neurotransmitter synthesis, making it a smart cofactor alongside tyrosine in a focus-driven formula.
  • Methylcobalamin B12 at 1mg supports energy metabolism and neurological function with an active, premium form. Combined with riboflavin and niacinamide, it rounds out the formula’s daytime energy support on the cofactor side.
  • Dual caffeine sources create a different feel than single-source stimulant products. Caffeine anhydrous is known for a fast, hard onset, while caffeine citrate is also rapidly acting, contributing to the formula’s immediate hit.
  • PEA plus hordenine suggests a deliberate mood-and-drive pairing. PEA is known for fast-onset mood elevation and urgency, while hordenine is often included to help extend or intensify that stimulant-style effect.
  • NeuroFactor™ Whole Coffee Fruit Extract elevates the cognitive positioning of the formula beyond standard caffeine. It is included in nootropic products for brain-derived neurotrophic factor support positioning and smoother mental performance support.
  • Pine bark adds a circulation and antioxidant angle to an otherwise stimulant-forward formula. It is not the star here, but it supports the overall design by broadening the formula beyond raw central nervous system stimulation.
  • Theophylline adds another layer of methylxanthine stimulation. That is part of why this product is best reserved for experienced users; it is a more aggressive stimulant architecture than most mainstream daily nootropics.
  • This is a proprietary blend formula, and that honesty matters. You get clear doses for the nootropic backbone, but several key stimulants are not individually disclosed, so Day Spell rewards users who value experience design while asking transparency-focused buyers to weigh that tradeoff carefully.

Who Is This For?

  • Experienced pre-workout users who already tolerate high-stim products and want a formula that prioritizes mental intensity over pump. The combination of L-Tyrosine, Alpha-GPC, DMAE, and multiple stimulants is designed for people who want to feel mentally switched on, assertive, and highly task-focused before training or demanding work.
  • Lifters who perform best with a strong headspace and aggressive intent during heavy compounds. If your best sessions happen when you feel locked into the set, mentally urgent, and less distractible between efforts, the cholinergic plus catecholamine architecture here makes sense.
  • Students, entrepreneurs, and shift workers who want a gym-oriented nootropic powder for high-output mornings or early afternoons. Lion’s Mane, NeuroFactor™, tyrosine, and Alpha-GPC give this formula a cognitive identity that extends beyond simple caffeine.
  • Bodybuilders in a cutting phase who need training intensity and mood elevation without a calorie-heavy energy source. The formula is built around stimulant-driven output and focus rather than carbs or hydration support.
  • Powerlifters or strength athletes who train best with arousal and aggression elevated before lower-rep work. This is not a pump-first product; it is a nervous-system-forward formula that fits sessions where mental drive matters as much as muscular fatigue resistance.
  • Gamers, creators, or competitive professionals who want a concentrated daytime focus formula and already understand their response to strong stimulants. The use case here is sustained engagement, quicker initiation, and reduced mental drag.

How to Use

Start with half a scoop to assess tolerance, especially if you have not used multi-stimulant nootropic powders before. A full scoop is appropriate only for users who already know they handle high-stim products well. Take it 20-30 minutes before training, a demanding work block, or any high-focus task; that window gives the caffeine system time to come online while the nootropic ingredients begin contributing to the overall feel. Mix with 8-12 ounces of cold water in a shaker bottle, not a spoon, because fine powders and multi-ingredient blends dissolve more evenly with agitation. Many users will feel the onset faster on an emptier stomach, but if you are prone to nausea or overstimulation, taking it after a light meal can soften the initial hit. Do not stack it with coffee, fat burners, or additional pre-workouts unless you intentionally control total daily stimulant intake. Because the proprietary blend hides exact stimulant amounts, conservative stacking is the smarter approach. This formula does not need “loading,” but it does benefit from responsible cycling; using it only on your hardest sessions or taking periodic breaks can help maintain sensitivity. Store it tightly sealed in a cool, dry place to protect flavor quality and powder flow.

What to Expect

Minutes 0-10, the main experience is ingestion and anticipation; with a powder like this, most users will simply notice the flavor and the fact that it sits lighter with moderate water volume. Minutes 10-20, the first real effects should be rising alertness and a more pronounced mental readiness as the caffeine sources begin to absorb. Minutes 20-40 is the likely peak window, where the formula feels most on-task: stronger drive, quicker initiation, and a more intense focus profile than a basic caffeine-only product. Minutes 40-90, the experience should stay primarily cognitive and stimulant-driven, with theophylline and the multi-source structure helping it avoid feeling too flat too fast. Days 1-7, most of the value is acute, not loading-based; you will know quickly whether the stimulant profile suits you. Weeks 2-4, the ingredients most likely to matter from consistency are Lion’s Mane and the steady use of the nootropic foundation, while stimulant tolerance can start to build if used too frequently without breaks.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is in Day Spell?

The exact caffeine breakdown is not fully disclosed on the label information available. Caffeine anhydrous and caffeine citrate are both included in a proprietary blend, so you know the formula is stimulant-heavy, but you cannot verify each caffeine source down to the milligram from the label alone.

Is Day Spell a pre-workout or a nootropic?

It sits between the two, but leans heavily toward high-stim nootropic performance. There are no classic pump staples like high-dose citrulline here; instead, the backbone is 1,000mg tyrosine, 750mg DMAE, 600mg Lion’s Mane, 600mg Alpha-GPC (50%), B-vitamins, and a layered stimulant blend.

What does the 600mg Alpha-GPC (50%) actually mean?

It likely means the material is standardized to 50% active Alpha-GPC. In practical terms, 600mg of a 50% ingredient would provide about 300mg actual Alpha-GPC, which is still a meaningful cholinergic dose for focus and attention support.

Will I feel Day Spell right away?

Yes, most users should feel the stimulant side acutely within the first 20-30 minutes. The initial experience is driven mainly by caffeine and the other stimulatory compounds, while Lion’s Mane is more of a background cognitive support ingredient than a rapid-onset sensation.

Should beginners use a full scoop?

No. Because this is a proprietary high-stim formula with hidden stimulant doses, beginners should start with half a scoop or avoid it entirely in favor of a simpler, fully disclosed product.

Can I stack Day Spell with coffee or an energy drink?

That is not a smart default. Since the exact stimulant totals are not fully disclosed, adding coffee or other caffeinated products can push total intake higher than intended and increase the risk of jitters, anxiety, or sleep disruption.

What is NeuroFactor™ doing in this formula?

NeuroFactor™ is a whole coffee fruit extract used in nootropic formulas for cognitive support positioning. It helps give Day Spell a more brain-performance-oriented identity instead of making it just another caffeine powder.

Is Lion’s Mane in Day Spell dosed high enough to matter?

At 600mg, it is not a token sprinkle. It is a meaningful inclusion for a cognitive formula, although Lion’s Mane is not the ingredient you “feel” the fastest compared with caffeine or PEA.

Does Day Spell need to be cycled?

It does not require cycling in the strict sense, but stimulant tolerance management matters. If you use it daily, the energizing punch can feel less dramatic over time, so many experienced users reserve products like this for harder sessions or take regular breaks.

Who is Day Spell best for?

It is best for experienced users who want aggressive daytime energy and stronger mental drive than a standard pre-workout provides. If your priority is productivity, focus, and training intent rather than pump, this formula is built in your direction.

NOT DURABLE, LONG-LASTING, OR USEFUL
Color: A-Navy, Color: A-Navy
I gave this dog toy 2-stars based on my dog toy rating system (DTRS) for “Albert” the Blue Bear! Safety (1-rating): Albert fell apart after 4-hours of use. 1. The ears were chewed off and I was only able to find one of them, which means my dog swallowed the other ear. Very big concern as it depends on how big your dog is to pass this object. The ear is about the size of 1.5-quarters. 2. The tail was almost chewed off entirely and was hanging on by a thread before I threw it out. 3. After the ears came off, the inside foam started to come out, which raised my concern for my dog’s saftey. 4. The entire body was soft and did not cause any harm to teeth, gums, paws, nose, etc. Durability (3-rating): 1. The ears and tail are the weakest parts of Albert as they can easily be chewed off. 2. The body is durable enough to sustain 4-hours of use, as I threw Albert out after the ears and tail were torn off within 4-hours. 3. The small squeaker inside Albert’s belly was broken after 15-minutes of use. Thank Goodness! 4. My next concern was how long the arms and legs would last; TBD! Squeaker (1-rating): 1. Small plastic squeaker, the size of a half-dollar, with a high pitched noise. Fatality (2-rating): 1. Albert was put to rest after 4-hours of use as I was concerned for the safety of my dog with continued use. 2. If Albert didn’t come with ears or a tail, I can only imagine how long he would’ve survived as the material seemed to be durable enough to withstand continued use. In conclusion, “Albert” the Blue Bear is not worth the money for a toy that falls apart after 4-hrs of use and with the concerns of safety. I was surprised that it was only 8-inches tall, next time I’ll confirm the size of the toy before I purchase the next one. About my dog “Cannoli” for comparison: Breed: Blue Healer / Lab mix Weight: 40-lbs Energy Level: High Age: 7-months Chew Rating: Aggressive

It’s not indestructible. Wonder if I can get a refund or another toy. It did last longer than most so I give them credit for that!

Almost good enough
Color: E-Navy+Purple
My dog chewy can rip through anything, even these. I do love the toys they’re great. They’re made with coconut on the inside, but could somebody please!, make a chew toy worthy of my dogs teeth, cause this ain’t it. But it is the strongest so far . I would recommend it. My doodle chewy short for Chewbacca is insane about chewing.

Could be more durable.
Color: A-Navy
It’s not as durable as I’d hoped. I’ve had to mend it. It’s cute, though, and my dog likes it. He’s an Aussie, so not great bite strength.

Cute but disappointing
Color: C-Navy+Oak, Color: C-Navy+Oak
One of my dogs love these however they are far from indestructible. Two days after giving the teddy to him, the tail of the teddy is off and there is a rip by one of the arms. They are very cute teddies but not for heavy chewers as they will only last a few days.
