Technical Description

The RS14 compound from Pagid Racing is engineered as an “all-round” racing friction material built to meet modern motorsport demands while maintaining disc-friendliness and consistent in-stop behavior. This medium-to-high friction ceramic/low-metallic resin bond material offers strong initial bite, excellent modulation and controllability, and a low wear rate, enabling drivers to push hard while retaining confidence, even under high thermal loads. With fade resistance up to approximately 650-700 °C, the RS14 is suitable for those demanding track- or club-race applications where performance and endurance must align. Additionally, its low heat conductivity helps reduce thermal transfer from disc to caliper and brake fluid, supporting overall system durability under repeated heavy use. Because this compound has been superseded in most applications, we recommend the RST3 pads as a suitable alternative.
