Lamprologus Tretocephalus Tanganyikan African Cichlids 5cmOverview: Lamprologus Tretocephalus, affectionately known as "Treto" in the aquarist community, are stunning Tanganyikan African Cichlids known for their striking coloration and unique head shape. Their engaging behavior and intriguing breeding habits make them an excellent addition to any enthusiast's tank.
Origin: These remarkable cichlids hail from the rocky shores of Lake Tanganyika in East Africa, where they dwell amidst the rocky substrate and crevices, showcasing their territorial nature and intriguing social behavior.
Feeding: Tretocephalus thrive on a diet rich in high-quality pellets or flakes supplemented with occasional live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp or bloodworms. Their diet should offer a balanced mix of protein and vegetable matter.
Tank Mates: Best kept in species-specific tanks or with other Tanganyikan cichlids of similar size and temperament. Avoid housing them with overly aggressive or significantly smaller fish to prevent conflicts in the tank.
Aggression: While moderately territorial, these cichlids exhibit manageable aggression, especially when guarding their chosen territory or during breeding periods. Providing ample hiding spaces with rock formations or caves can mitigate aggression.
Experience Level: Intermediate to experienced aquarists will appreciate the unique behaviors and specific tank requirements of Lamprologus Tretocephalus. Their territorial nature and breeding behaviors may require attentive care and understanding.
Water Parameters: Maintain water conditions with a pH range of 7.8-9.0 and a temperature between 74-80°F (23-27°C). Regular water changes and stable parameters are crucial for their health and well-being.

Pet Friendly
Color: Blue
This toy is honestly the best gift for my pet cat but it may be a little too large for her just yet. Would make the perfect toy for a grown dog though. The material is such a great quality that dogs can chew it and not spoil the fun. I am amazed such a great product was priced so moderately.

Fun Toy for Active Dogs
Color: Blue
Great engagement for my pup! The noise level is low, and chew resistance seems solid. Decent value for money with a nice appearance. Durable enough for daily play. Highly recommended!

Fun toy, but dog is able to unscrew
The dog loves it. But.....the dog bites and twists it in his paws and is able to unscrew it. Now the threads are getting stripped. And I am concerned he will start chewing on the battery if I am not watching him.
Update - the seller refunded my money, so all good. If your dog can't unscrew it, they will love it.

Not for my kids
Scary ball to my dogs. The power button is inside so you have to unscrew it, turn it on & screw it back together before it starts moving. It's not easy. It's harder than a rubber ball so I think it would be sturdy. It might work for some dogs, but mine ran for the hills!
