Lakeline's SureFire Striker for Taurus GX4 Series Pistols is precision machined from 17-4 Precipitation Hardened and polished Stainless Steel. This firing pin is designed for reliable primer ignition and is incredibly tough and durable. This striker has a long life and is fully dry fire safe.
Some companies aggressively market titanium parts for firearms in the name of weight savings and there are application where that significantly higher cost makes sense. The Lakeline Stainless Steel Firing Pin weighs less than 0.2 oz, about the weight of 2 pennies; we don't think doubling the price of the firing pin is worth making it weigh 1 1/2 pennies. Titanium also readily deforms and has low elasticity compaired to stainless - which means you will have to replace it more often. We prioritize high quality performance at a reasonable price.
Many customers have already installed the Lakeine Stainless Steel Striker Guide, replacing plastic stock striker components with precision CNC machined and polished stainless steel gives a consistent, low friction trigger pull. If you have not, consider the complete drop in ready striker assembly (link here).
Also consider replacing your striker springs. No matter the material quality, all springs degrade over time and are a wear product. Periodic replacment ensures performance and reliability (link here).
This assembly is compatible with the Taurus GX4 Series Pistols, including the GX4, GX4XL, and GX4 Carry.
It is NOT COMPATIBLE with the Taurus G-Series (coming soon) and the TH Series handguns.

The screws are the best part

OK. So I spend a lot on (and I mean A LOT) on Amazon and I never write reviews. Just not my thing. But I had to write a review for this product. These brackets are fantastic - attractive, sturdy. But what threw me was the screws - they are SUCH high quality. They don't strip or lose their black color at all even when your drill, set to 0 slip, loses grip repeatedly because you drilled the pilot hole too small and are throwing every ounce of your body weight against it to get it to drive. And they give you extra! Like, enough to mount 8.5 brackets in a 6-bracket box. I am saving alllllll of these extra screws; if I could buy them separate I would. It might seem like a small thing but hardware is usually a place companies skimp on HARD, and to be confronted with such quality was truly a breath of fresh air.
The brackets take some mounting expertise to ensure everything is true - lots of measuring and leveling (some minor differences in angle + or - a couple degrees, but they're SOLID. I will be buying these again in the future. Kudos for an awesome product.
