Product DescriptionImprove Your Chevy Trucks Handling and Braking Performance
The advantages of converting your old drum brakes to more modern disc brakes are many. Your Chevy Truck will stop more efficiently with the superior stopping power of disc brakes compared to drum brakes in normal every day driving conditions but become especially apparent in wet or rainy weather conditions. This is because disc brakes are better at dispersing water, allowing for quicker stops. The consistent braking performance ensures that drivers have more control over the vehicle, especially in critical situations enhancing your overall handling & stopping performance during adverse weather conditions. You will also experience more uniform and predictable braking performance. This balance is crucial for handling, as it helps prevent the pulling from one side or the other during braking, allowing for smoother and safer maneuvers. Other advantages disc brakes offer over drum brakes include:
- Better Heat Dissipation
- Less Brake Fade
- Less Maintenance & Inspection
- Ease of Replacements in the Future
- 6 Lug rotors 6x5.5 Bolt Pattern
- 12" Disc Brake Rotors (Cross Drilled & Slotted)
- Semi Metallic Brake Pads & Pins (MKD154)
- Large Bore GM Calipers, (Based on 82' Eldorado)
- Stainless Steel Braided Brake Hoses
