ABOUT THE ART

Rumored to be the actual artist who painted the famous 'Monkey Parliament' painting under Banksy's direction which sold for a record breaking $12 million at auction, Mason Storm has released this exceptional limited edition print which is considered to be based on the original reference used to paint Banksy's famous 'Monkey Parliament'.

ARTIST BIO

Mason Storm was born in London and has been a native there for 40 years.

He never attended a ‘normal’ art college. His artistic education began when he was about 12 or 13. One night while attending his local youth centre his Judo class was cancelled and so he wandered into the art class where his friend was doing classes. He continued wandering in and out every night for about 15 years.

The teachers there at the time were students supplementing their grants by working at the centre while creating their own pieces. They went on to become leading lights in the UK contemporary art world having graduated from The Royal Academy of Arts, The Royal College of Arts and Central St Martins.

Art has always remained his passion, however Mason left it to one side while he began a career that was very much removed from the world of art. He cannot reveal all the details of his career path however these are the edited highlights: Judo/Self Defence Instructor, Freelance Security Contractor, Security Consultant/Freelance Intelligence Analyst, Journalist specialising in Intelligence/Espionage/Terrorism, Law Graduate, Barrister.

As a distraction Mason Storm took to creating sculpture and was asked to take part in a show. From then on he has gradually returned to art. It’s far more entertaining than his past activities.

Mason's work has been considered controversial and provocative, however he never try’s to be controversial in his subject matter just for the sake of it, there is always an underlying reason for the work he produces.

Mason is probably best known for his mask. It has become a trademark, hiding his identity whilst creating a mystique which helps with promotion and publicity. He began wearing it when in 2010 he said he was going to reveal the face of the artist Banksy in an oil painting.

The whole campaign was nothing more than a big marketing ploy, and it worked. The supposed unveiling of Banksy courted a lot of negative publicity and the occasional death threat. Nothing he hasn’t encountered many times in his previous life but he knew the fact that he was remaining anonymous would annoy Banksy’s followers even more.

Secondly, in his previous careers he has met and dealt with some extremely dangerous men. There is no risk to his security but he would rather the two worlds never meet. Also he occasionally does freelance work and its better for him if he remain in the shadows so to speak. So the mask, apart from its marketing potential allows him to hide in plain sight.

Great for dogs that are chewers
Size: 2 Count (Pack of 1), Style: Pack of 2
These are wonderful for our dog. The bright colors help us find them when our dog can't. The size is perfect to play fetch. Our dog will chew on it a bit and it stays together and does not fall apart. That is a big bonus because our dog is a chewer!

It's A Whistler!
Size: Medium (Pack of 1), Style: Pack of 1
This Chuckit! Whistler Ball is basically a regular fetch toy that decided to become an annoying little teakettle mid-air. My dog goes absolutely nuts for it—every throw sounds like a tiny referee is shrieking "foul!" the whole way across the yard. He chases it harder than he chases the mailman, and bonus: I can actually find it in tall grass because it's screaming for help. Super bouncy, tough enough that he hasn't destroyed it yet (miracle), and now our walks sound like a low-budget horror movie.

Great buy
Size: 2 Count (Pack of 1), Style: Pack of 2
Easy to track balls. My dog loves them and I like that they whistle when you throw them cause some times my dog loses track of it in the air. This helps because they can hear where it's going. Will buy again.

My Dog's Favorite Balls
Size: 2 Count (Pack of 1), Style: Pack of 2
My dogs love these balls and won't play with any others. My lab has to carry the orange ball and track and retrieve the blue one. We have a system!

Our perfect chew toy for a relentless chewer!
Size: 2 Count (Pack of 1), Style: Pack of 2
We have looked high and low for a ball that our Australian Shepherd couldn't destroy. Read on to find out why we are sticking with this one. We've used other Chuckit! products in the past to mixed degrees of success. We absolutely love the ring fetch toy, though the dog can destroy those rings in a couple days. We tried other "nearly indestructible" balls only to have to throw them away within a couple days because our dog had destroyed them and left small pieces around the house for the baby to find. We have been COMPLETELY satisfied by these balls. They fit with the Chuckit! stick, which is a great bonus, but the most important thing is the dog hasn't been able to get pieces torn out of them. His orange one is his "indoor toy" and he's been going to town on it for weeks without any indication of wear. We periodically inspect it and are always floored to see that it's generally in the same condition as when we gave it to him. The orange color did fade a little when he left it outside for a few days in the sun, but considering how well it works otherwise, this didn't concern us at all. The "whistling" aspect of this ball is... well, an interesting gimmick but I wouldn't buy it if that's what you're interested in. Sometimes it makes noise in flight, other times it doesn't. We don't care. He chews it until he's tired of it (which is usually hours) and it squeaks and squorks on his teeth which keeps him happy as a clam. We honestly didn't think we'd find a ball that could keep up with his chewing, but this one has been phenomenal. We cannot recommend it enough!
