we don’t generally recomend over 275 amps for stock vehicles without increasing the idle rpm for 300+ amp alternators or running an overdrive crank pulley. The 4.0L is a smooth lower idle rpm running engine, due to that 275 amps is seen as the perfect upgrade to drop into a stock vehicle without those changes or less output IE 250 200 amp alternators. The 200 amp doesn’t even require a smaller belt / drive pulley.
