The Competition/Plus® shifters have been the benchmark of transmission control since 1965. Such a solid design from its inception, the Competition/Plus shifter is still built from the same drawings, tooling design, and material specifications as it was over 50 years ago. With a wide array of custom applications, these shifters will bolt into OEM consoles with no modifications required. Designed for short, precise throws between gears, the Competition/Plus provides unparalleled shift quality and feel. Every Competition/Plus shifter can be paired with Hurst's heat-treated linkage rods and arms (installation kits) for track-worthy durability. Adjustable shift stops help prevent overshifting and possible transmission damage. Other features include the classic Hurst chrome-plated stick and white shift knob that assure the fit and finish are up to the standards that your car deserves. Love this! Works perfectly for where I wanted it. I did measure my room incorrectly and thought it would be smaller, thankfully it’s not and thankfully it’s not bigger than the room itself. I did like how the whole thing was move-able but it was a bit annoying so I just added extra clips to the left of the middle one and unscrewed the right of the middle at the bottom so it opens like a door, this did make it a bit flimsy but duck taping it to the wall as anchor it works. 100% recommend, but do suggest a drill and a second set of hands to put it together, due to its size it can be a bit difficult to maneuver putting together yourself. Also if you have a clingy cat like I do, and think this will help keep them out, no, my cat who is very large can manage to squeeze underneath it.
