High quality Cyber Series Screen materials

The Grandview Cyber series tab tensioned projector screens are the perfect choice for the home cinema enthusiast. The high quality screen materials have been optimised for use with the tensioning system. The screen has a gain of 1.1 and produces superb high contrast images. The black PVC backing material prevents any light leakage. The material on a Tab Tension screen is not only pulled down by the weight of the bar but also from the left and right side by a Nylon string. The string is periodically connected to the material via small "Tabs", hence the name Tab Tension.

Unlike a standard screen, a Tab Tension screen has a flexible material so that it can be pulled taught from all sides. The Grandview Cyber screens have a unique ratchet mechanism at each end of weighted bar so that the tensioning strings can be easily adjusted. The US made material is optimised for home cinema use, producing a high contrast and uniform reflectivity. A black PVC backing prevents light leakage so that the screen can be positioned in front of a window.

Tab tension system

A conventional projector screen only tensions the screen in one direction by using a weight bar. A tab tension screen also tensions the screen horizontally thus keeping the screen as flat as possible. The amount of tension applied can easily be adjusted using the thumb wheels at each end of the weight bar.

Case and Motor Design

The aluminium diamond white case has an elegant curved profile making it one of the nicest looking screens on the market. The rigid sturdy design keeps the internal roller perfectly straight and any motor noise to a minimum. The Cyber series projector screens all use SOMFY motors, the same motors found in the likes of Dalite and Stuart cinema screens.

Modern Design

Grandview screens are protected by an incredibly strong aluminum casing. It has an attractive modern design with a curved profile.

Infra red remote control and 12v trigger

The Grandview Cyber series electric projector screens include a built in infra red remote control receiver which can be operated with the suppled remote control handset. The screen can be lowered or raised via remote control. The drop position can easily be set by the user. An external infra red receiver is also included for installations where the screen will be out of sight. The 12 volt input can be connected to any projector or device that features a 12 volt output so that the screen will be operated automatically when the device is turned on.

Grandview Cyber series screens and easily be mounted on either the wall or ceiling using the supplied L-shaped brackets. They can be located anywhere along the length of the case and once in position can be secured with an aluminum locking lever.
