These stainless steel plates are designed to repair damaged side tab attachment holes for the OEM Ford FGX front bumper.?ÿ?ÿ

The design of the plates feature a slit which allows the plate to be installed on the bottom of the bumper tabs in which has a plastic piece that would otherwise be in the way (as shown in the photos).

In some circumstances, the bumper tabs are not hooking onto the retainer brackets properly. These repair plates are designed with extra thickness at the connection locations to help the bumper hook onto the bumper retainer brackets. The plates have side tabs which can be bent and stuck to side of the bumper for extra support.

To install, simply sand down & clean surfaces on the damaged bumper tabs and the repair plates. Then simply glue the plates in place. Apply evenly spread pressure with clamps?ÿwhilst itƒ??s drying.

Recommended adhesive: JB Weld Plastic Bonder 25mL Black 50139 (not included).?ÿ

It is recommended for maximum strength, that the plates are installed underneath the OEM bumper tabs.?ÿ
