Take strict to a whole new level. The Riot Chest Support Pad Attachment mounts directly to your Riot MRR Rack or Riot Rig, locking your torso in place so you can train your back, shoulders, and arms with zero momentum — just pure muscle work.

The 490 x 300 x 60 mm pad is deep, firm, and fully upholstered in vinyl over high-density foam and a UHMW base — comfortable under load and built to last. A full 90 degrees of angle adjustment across 10 positions means you can target different muscle angles for rows and rear delt work, or flip the logic entirely and use it as an incline backrest for pressing movements.

Attachment is fast and secure: a fixed pin anchors the bracket to the upright, and a mag pin handles the angle adjustment — no fumbling, no lost hardware.

FAQ

What exercises can I do with the Riot Chest Support Pad Attachment?

The short answer: a lot. The most obvious use is chest-supported rows — barbell, dumbbell, or cable — where the pad locks your torso in place so your back does all the work with zero lower-back strain. From there it opens up into rear delt flies and lateral raises with no room to cheat, face pulls for shoulder health, prone Y/T/W raises for scapular stability, hammer curls and reverse curls with strict arm isolation, and tricep kickbacks where the upper arm stays pinned to the pad throughout. Flip the angle up and it doubles as an incline backrest for dumbbell pressing, incline curls, or any seated movement where you need support without a dedicated bench. It even works for chest-supported shrugs if you want to take the lower traps completely out of the equation.

What racks and rigs is it compatible with?

The Chest Support Pad Attachment is designed for the Riot MRR and Riot Rig. It mounts to the uprights via a fixed pin and a removable mag pin, so it works anywhere on the rack where the upright spacing matches.

How does the angle adjustment work?

There are 10 adjustment positions spanning a full 90 degrees, using a mag pin that you pull out, reposition, and drop back in. No threading, no tools — just a quick pull and reset. The staggered hole pattern (10 x Ø17 mm) keeps the pad locked solid once set.

How does it attach to the rack?

A fixed pin on one side provides the primary anchor, with the mag pin on the other handling both attachment and angle adjustment. It's fast to mount and remove, so you can swap it in and out between sets without disrupting the rest of your setup.

What is the pad made from?

The pad is 490 x 300 x 60 mm — wide and deep enough to be genuinely comfortable under load. It's built with a UHMW base, high-density foam, and a vinyl cover. The bracket is 3 mm mild steel, black powder coated.

Is it easy to store when not in use?

Yes. The whole attachment removes from the rack in seconds, so it doesn't take up permanent space on the rig. When you need it, drop it back in.

Format: Kindle
Trying to distill WWll down to a little over 400 pages is a Herculean task but Mr. Kennedy does a serviceable job. He provides thumbnail sketches of the major players' personalities and tics. He does an admirable job of jumping back and forth between the European and Pacific theaters of operation, always keeping in mind America's POV in explaining how FDR and his staff dealt with their fractious, troublesome allies. He explains how the Rosie the riveter myth is pretty much a fabrication and how America's approach to manufacturing was able to out produce the German mode of war production: America going for Quantity vs. the German fixation with Quality. Lots interesting information and facts. There are areas where I thought he could have used more depth such as the death of FDR (probably no more than two pages.if that); Mussolini and Hitler's last hours are given mere paragraphs; Churchill being voted out of office just months shy of victory in Europe is given maybe two paragraphs and while he mentions how Tibetts went to the airplane factory to pick the future Enola Gay off the assembly line he gives short shrift the immensely expensive and technically complex challenge of building the A-bomb. Nor does Mr. Kennedy mention that when HST hinted to Stalin that America had an powerful new weapon Stalin was all ready aware of the activities going on at Trinity and of the Manhattan Project. Mr. Kennedy doesn't offer any new information or insights but this is a good, one-book overview, of the war.

Thorough But Easily Read Historical Account
Format: Paperback
I bought this book thinking it would be an account of civilian life in the U.S. during WWII. But I was surprised to see that it focused almost exclusively on the military campaigns and the decisions behind them. There was sporadic mention of life on the homefront, but mostly the book is a book about the war. Which is not a criticism. Kennedy deftly and thoroughly takes us through the war, outlines for us the challenges and opportunities and how the leaders of the affected nations developed their strategies. In addtion to the fine details of history, Kennedy writes in such a fashion that this book will probably appeal to the scholar and the layman with equal strength. As someone long in the tooth, I knew most of the history of WWII, but if you are younger and want a comprehensive, well-written history an epic period in world history, you could do a lot worse than read this compelling book.
