HOW IT WORKS

After you check out, reply to the order confirmation email with your favorite photos & the names of your pet. You can also put the pet's names in a note at check out.

When I have finished the illustration, I will email you the high resolution files for printing. 

You will receive individual, high res portraits of each animal, and a composite image with both pets and both names, for a total of three files.

You can do whatever you want with them—print it and frame them, have them printed on canvas, make greeting cards, post them on social media, whatever you like, as long as it is for personal use.

CHOOSING A PHOTO

I work from one photo for each aniaml, and I always encourage you to choose one that represents their personalities. 

Photos with both eyes and ears visible usually come out the best, although not always necessary.

The photos you send do not need to be high resolution, but keep in mind that the better the photo, the more clear and dynamic your portraits will be. 

PRODUCTION TIME

You will receive your portraits within 7-10 days of your order.

If you need them by a certain date, I always do my best to and can almost always accommodate. You can include this information when you email your reference photo. 

OPTIONS FOR PRINTING YOUR PORTRAIT

I now offer high resolution art prints shipped to you directly! You can choose to order only the digital file, or you can choose a print size and frame option.

FOR DIGITAL FILES ONLY:

Your drawing will be a digital file, so you will not receive anything in the mail - only the email with the high res image for printing. 

For best results I always suggest having it printed through a printing service that offers art prints. The high resolution file can be printed out up to at least 16 x 20.

I prefer to order giclee prints on fine art paper through lumaprints.com, but there are lots of sites where you can order other prints and even use this portrait on other merchandise. 

FOR PRINTS:

You will receive both a digital file and one print in the size of your choosing, with or without a frame. The printed artwork will be only one print, the composite of two pets with their names. 

When your illustrations are completed, I will email them to you for final approval. Once you approve your portrait, I will ship your print of the composite image with two pets as ordered. 

Your portrait will be printed on archival quality, acid-free matte paper with archival, eco-solvent ink. 

FOR FRAMED PRINTS:

Frame options include a solid wood custom frame in black, white, or oak.  

Framed prints include a custom white mat with a 1.5" border. 

Framed with optical grade acrylic, which offers more clarity than a traditional glass frame and will not break or cause damage to the artwork. 

SHIPPING:

Please allow 2-3 days after you have approved your final portrait to receive tracking info. 

Prints without a frame will ship flat in a rigid mailer and will be shipped for free.

Framed prints will be calculated as checkout.
