The Pearlscale Goldfish are popular aquarium fish that like temperate water. They are full of character and are great for children wanting to start up in the hobby. They need at least a 35 litre tank because they produce a lot of waste.

    pH 6-8
    Hardness: 5-19 dGH.
    Temperature: 16-24°C

    Ease of care
    Easy. We recommend having at least 35 litres of water per Goldfish. A good filter is highly recommended as they like good water conditions and they are messy.
    Diet
    Flake and small Goldfish sinking pellets are best. High Protein fish food when they are breeding is best.
    Compatibility
    Community with other peaceful fancy goldfish and bottom feeders such as a Borneo Loach in cold water aquariums. They will eat live plants.
    Breeding/ Sex
    Moderate. They are egg layers and breed best when in groups.
    Lifespan
    They can live up to 10-15 Years in perfect conditions.

A pain to put on the wall
4 stars only because to actually screw it into the wall you need either an angled screw driver, which we had to go buy, or a really really short screwdriver as the one that came with it is just a tad to long. Also the mollies that come with it our cheap and would not hold up on regular dry wall, which we found out, thank goodness, before we finished hanging it. As we were hanging it the top pulled right out of the wall. We had heavy duty ones at home already and used those. The shelf was a breeze to actually put together and once we got past the trouble of hanging it, is wonderful and looks great. So, 1. buy a better screwdriver, and 2. get heavy duty mollies.
