17th Century Minimalist

Welcome to the 17th century minimalist. This is a fast-paced and highly-deadly game with a pinch of black humor that puts characters as wanderers in 17th century Europe. You will play as tricksters, thieves, former soldiers, bankrupt swashbucklers and petty physicians, roaming the Old Continent in search of coin and glory. The system is designed to allow fast character creation, compatibility with other games (mostly in the Old School Revival roleplaying game community) and a reckless style of play.

Features of 17th Century Minimalist

  • All rules are simplified and compressed to their essence.
  • It assumes a historical, low-fantasy setting in the 17th century.
  • It has firearms with flintlocks.
  • It does not have magic.
  • Combat is faster, deadlier and scarier.
  • Why? Because characters do not gain more HP in higher levels.
  • It has novel mechanics for experience and reputation. The two together offer opportunities for a more narrative style of play.

Included Adventure Bundle

This includes five mini modules, perfect for one-shot games. Created for the 17th century minimalist system, but easily compatible with other old school games and systems.

The Adventures

  • Wild Witch Chase plays with moral and religious beliefs. It is horrible and players should feel extremely guilty, if they play the module as intended.
  • Ticking Time Bomb is a parody of mercantile wars. These were common, for instance, in Italy, divided into several conflicting city-states.
  • Black Plague Now throws players into the horrors of 17th century plague. The 1348 Black Death remains unrivalled, but the 1600s saw some nasty cases.
  • Hedge Death Maze hints at the lavish, baroque, wasteful and arrogant nobility, on the brink of being exceeded by a rising bourgeoisie.
  • Finally, Cluster Fuck Inn flirts with secret societies, complots, alchemy and science, typical of the 1600s.

Tiny Charger, Big Power 🔥
Color: Blue, Color: Blue
Absolutely love this charger. Super compact, premium quality, and charges surprisingly fast. The smart display is such a cool feature and makes it feel futuristic. Doesn’t get too hot, feels very solid, and works perfectly with my braided USB-C cable. Definitely one of the best compact chargers I’ve used. 1000000% worth it.

Incredible for it’s size
Color: Black
This charger has become my go-to. It has no issues charging (not just powering) my MacBook while I’m using it, it fast charges my phone better than any other power brick I’ve owned, and the screen makes me smile every time I plug it in. The little bouncing blob just gives me a chuckle. It’s small, it’s light, the prongs can be positioned so that it comes out straight from the wall, or you can position them so the wire leaves the wall at a 90° angle like I did, ideal for the space between a bed or dresser and the outlet. Wonderful device.

Awesome for travel
Color: Black
The Anker Smart Display Charger is another awesome idea from Anker. The built-in display is a great feature because it lets you see charging information clearly instead of guessing what is happening. It makes the charger feel more modern, useful, and premium compared to a regular wall charger. The design is compact and convenient, making it easy to use at home, at work, or while traveling. I also like that it comes from Anker, a brand known for reliable charging products, cables, and portable power accessories. The charger feels practical, well-made, and easy to trust with everyday devices. Overall, this is a smart and creative charging product. The display is not just a gimmick; it actually adds value and makes charging easier to understand. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a dependable charger with a useful modern feature.
