Daniel's book brings together all the disparate pieces of understanding I had about the Christian Sabbath (as well as the Old Testament one) into a harmonious whole. The book is a wonderful statement of the freedom the Sabbath gives God’s people from the tyrannies of the hunger for power, the anxieties, and the covetousness of the world that so easily enter our own hearts.
