Unlike generic DIY power boxes, the Lackey arrives fully pre-wired with resettable circuit breakers, an RCD-protected AC outlet, and Anderson plug connections for battery, solar and vehicle input. This reduces installation time and the risk of wiring faults, while the powder-coated aluminium enclosure withstands dust, vibration and the harsh conditions common on Australian worksites and tracks.
Simplified Installation for Canopy, Bulkhead and Roof Mounting
Multiple mounting points and a compact footprint (590 x 415 x 135 mm) allow the Lackey to be bolted into position on front or rear bulkheads, or even internally on a canopy roof. The system is available in left-side and right-side configurations, giving installers flexibility to achieve a clean, space-efficient fit-out. Once secured, simply connect your auxiliary battery, solar panels and vehicle input via the supplied Anderson connectors, and the system is operational.
Intelligent Charging and Monitoring
The integrated Enerdrive DC2DC 40+ charger supports Wet, AGM, Gel and Lithium battery profiles, with multi-stage charging that maximises battery life and performance. A Simarine PICO battery monitor with WiFi connectivity provides real-time visibility of voltage, current and state of charge via a clear LCD display or your smartphone. Programming and daily monitoring are handled through the DC40+ interface, so there is minimal need to open the enclosure after installation.
