Module 1 - Project inception - objective, scope, organization development and launch – and project performance metrics

Pre-requisite: Familiarization with industrial or commercial operations and experience in small project implementation.

Time/Duration: 2 hours.

Brief Program Description and Objectives:

This course caters to Engineers, aspiring Project Managers, current Project Managers, Facilities Managers, and Energy Professionals who are involved in – or anticipate involvement in – project management role in the energy arena. This course introduces attendees to the importance of specificity, and clear definition of project objective and scope. Participants are introduced to the S.M.A.R.T goal formulation criteria for the development of project goals and objectives. Once preliminary

objectives or goals are developed, they must be vetted and refined – this course introduces participants to proven approaches on how to assess and refine goals and objectives. With the project team assembled, the attendees will learn about the importance of protocols for effective communications – lateral and vertical – and activities associated with successful implementation of projects. Participants will also be introduced to the distinction between single phase contiguous projects versus long multi-segmented, or multi-phase, projects. Dynamics of project flow will be covered and the participants will be introduced to mainstream project management tools and metrics.

Topics to be covered:

  • Energy Project Objective, Scope, Basic Assumptions and Goal Setting
  • Energy Project Screening/Vetting
  • Project team organization, management approval and protocol for communications and transactions
  • Phased Implementation of Long Multi-Segmented Projects

Love this! Sturdy and elegant
I have a small selection of jewelry pieces I wear but I needed something that would keep them all together in one place. This jewelry box is fantastic! And It fits two pairs of sunglasses on the bottom compartment. I like that there’s a little tab to help pull up the top part. It was actually a bit bigger than expected which is a good thing. And still small enough for traveling. The necklace tabs are sturdy and hold them in place. I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

Get Bejewelled
This box is very nice. It feels sturdy. The color is true to the product picture and the material feels nice. The size is as expected. This was a gift for a young woman; she loved it and that it was cute enough to "fill space" while also being functional.

Great for travel or countertop
I ordered 9 of these for my four girls and all my nieces- in two of the nine, the trays sunk in without holding up, the others were great! I love how I can keep them out and they look pretty, or pack them away in luggage for easy transportation!
