Why GM opted to not include a factory fuel lift pump on all of the early model Duramax's is still a mystery. This lack of consistent fuel pressure coupled with the switch from the proven CP3 to a CP4 injection pump beginning in model year 2011 has spelled disaster on these trucks, especially for those trying to increase the horsepower through performance programmers and/or larger displacement injectors. Even at stock power levels, this insufficient fuel pressure and volume equates to limited overall power, decreased fuel economy, and potentially harming the injection pump and injectors due to a lack of lubrication.
The AirDog II-5G is an all in one premium fuel pump and filtration system for your 2011-2014 LML Duramax diesel. This system removes water, particulates, and entrained air from the diesel fuel. The entrained air that is separated from the fuel is returned to the tank through a small return fitting. The fuel is delivered to the engine at the correct pressure and flow rate to meet the demands of the engine under all operating conditions.
The AirDogII-5G DF-100 systems feature a built in adjustible diaphragm pressure regulator. All AirDog II-5G systems include a complete installation kit. The AirDog II-5G, for this particular application, is preset at 8-10 psi from factory for a stock application. The regulator is adjustible up to 55 psi for fine tuning the system to perfectly match up to your current and future performance upgrades.
HOW IT WORKS:
The AirDog II-5G DF-100 draws fuel from the fuel tank through a 5/8” suction line to reduce the risk of cavitation at the pump. The fuel is then drawn through the water separator where 92% of water is removed per SAE spec 1488. It is then pressurized through a Gerotor pump and sent to the 2 micron fuel filter before it is sent to the injection pump. The air from aerated fuel, due to tank sloshing and engine return lines, is separated and sent back to the tank through the 3/8” return fitting. The excess fuel that the engine does not use is recirculated through the diaphragm regulator back to the suction side of the pump.

Good Value for a Tall Chair

I have received this chair just today and would like to give my first impressions of it.
Height is super adjustable as well as the foot rest. My desk is very tall (~34 inches vs standard ~29 inches) and does not suit a standard height chair. This chair's height is enough to sit comfortably at mybut also still having adjustment to be even higher.
Lumbar support is a manual adjustment that can be adjusted by sliding the lumbar piece up or down and it seems it can be tiled as well.
No reclining feature or slight backrest tilt adjustment. I'm used to my chairs reclining so it feels a little awkward siting in a flat base and straight backrest. I feel like I'm sitting too forward or leaning forward slightly but is probably something I can get use to.
Easy to put together and feels very sturdy. Plastic parts of chair are made from a really sturdy plastic, like playhouse plastic materials. Wheels roll around carpet easily. Mesh seems to be a strong material, though the mesh feels kind itchy on bare skin.
Overall, I think this is a good chair to get if you're needing a tall chair for a good value and can sacrifice no backrest tilt.

Perfect chair!

I have an adjustable-height desk (also purchased from Amazon) and needed a drafting chair for those times when my body gets tired of standing. This chair fits the bill and then some! I put it together myself; it took me about an hour, but would take me about half that next time, since now I know what to do (and what NOT to do!). All the parts were there; there are even spare parts (see photo). All the holes were drilled in exactly the right places, too, which isn't always the case when I buy things from Amazon (my standing desk is a great example). The chair fits me; I'm short (5'3.5"), and often the seats of furniture are too deep for me to rest my feet flat on the floor. The depth of the seat on this chair is just a little over 18 inches, and with the adjustable footrest ring, it's perfect. I don't think a tall or heavy person would fit in it, to be honest. But it's perfect for those of us who are vertically challenged. I love that it glides easily on my hardwood floors and that it turns 360 degrees. The chair comes in numerous luscious colors, so take your pick! It is very sturdy, has good lumbar support, and the seat and seat back are very comfortable. And the arms flip up, which was an absolute must when I was shopping for this chair. I got it on sale, too -- $109.00 -- and I'm delighted with this purchase.

Excellent adjustable drafting chair

Excellent chair design, extremely comfortable and exceptionally easy instructions to follow making for simple assembly. Love the amply wide cushioned seat and ergonomic backrest. The height adjustment feature works perfectly as well as positioning of the foot ring . Having the ability to raise the arms is also a big plus! Comfortable, stylish, and perfect for long work hours 💗✨

I bought this chair because I spend a lot of time working and needed something comfortable but also stylish, and I absolutely love it.
Since I started using it, I feel much better support in my back thanks to the lumbar support. It makes a big difference, especially during long work hours. The adjustable footrest is also a feature I didn’t know I needed, but now I use it all the time.
The flip-up armrests are very convenient because I can adjust them depending on what I’m doing or move them out of the way when needed.
The pink color is beautiful and adds a soft, elegant touch to my workspace. It looks great in a modern home office.
