Continuous Passive Movement Aids Recovery
CPM - continuous passive movement - is a fantastic rehabilitation solution for knee joint injuries, stopping the joint from seizing up and causing mobility issues by mimicking the natural movement of the knee. The constant movement of the knee helps to increase the blood-flow, which delivers essential nutrients to the affected area and assists with healing.
This movement also reduces both swelling and scar tissue, increasing mobility both in the present and the future. The stop button gives the patient complete authority over the chair, ensuring that they can stop in case of an emergency.
