Since its release in 1981, the workhorse SD-1 Super Overdrive has been the core gain pedal for generations of players across every musical genre. Based around the revolutionary asymmetrical clipping circuit from the OD-1 Overdrive—one of the three original BOSS compact pedals from 1977—the SD-1 delivers rich, smooth, and highly musical overdrive tones that continue to inspire guitarists everywhere.

This sale is for a Boss SD-1 which was made in Taiwan. It has the black label on the back. The serial is EC84882. It was made in July 1991.


Condition:

  • This is a used unit.

  • This unit is in good condition. It shows some general wear. This includes some nicks and scratches. Nothing major. Please see photos.

  • This unit is 100% functional. All controls work as they should.

  • This unit can power off a 9V battery or a Boss ACA power supply or generic equivalent (12V DC Negative). Neither are included in the sale.

  • This sale is for the SD-1 only.

The Tupac is ideal, but losing one star just for durability and size.

We purchased this to keep our dog busy and engaged. He seems to enjoy it. We placed 1 or 2 treats in the tentacles and then loosely tie them. He can not untie them but can still manage to get the treats out. It amuses him for 10-12 minutes which is great. Only downside I can see is that the octopus is going to get grungy soon because of the treats and the treats and the constant licking to remove them. Not sure how it will washup but we will try.
