Marbled Hatchet Fish Carnegiella Strigata 4cmOverview: The Marbled Hatchet Fish, scientifically known as Carnegiella Strigata, is a captivating addition to any peaceful community aquarium. With its distinct streamlined body and eye-catching marbled patterns, this species is prized for its unique appearance and peaceful nature.
Origin: Originating from the slow-moving waters of South America, particularly the Amazon River basin, these fish thrive in densely vegetated areas with subdued lighting.
Feeding: They are omnivorous and readily accept a varied diet, including flakes, small live or frozen foods like daphnia, bloodworms, and even small insects. A mix of quality flake food and occasional live/frozen treats ensures optimal health.
Tank Mates: Best suited for peaceful community tanks, they coexist harmoniously with other non-aggressive species like tetras, rasboras, small peaceful catfish, and other hatchetfish species. Avoid housing with larger, aggressive fish that may intimidate or outcompete them during feeding.
Aggression: Known for their peaceful demeanor, Marbled Hatchet Fish rarely display aggression towards tank mates. They prefer swimming near the water's surface and are often skittish, so ensure a well-covered tank to prevent them from jumping out.
Experience Level: Ideal for hobbyists of various experience levels, these fish are relatively hardy and adaptable to a range of water conditions. However, they do require a well-maintained environment to thrive.
Water Parameters: Maintain water temperatures between 72°F to 82°F (22°C to 28°C), with a pH range of 5.5 to 7.5. A planted aquarium with floating vegetation and dim lighting mimics their natural habitat and aids in their comfort and security.

Great toy!!!
Style: Original
My dog went mental over this ball!!! She will let me roll it through the backyard or in the house and she will go nuts for it but the great part, she will play by herself with this ball. She will roll it and jump on it and just have a blast.
Since this is not a normal chew toy, my dog's big, she only gets it when I'm with her. It kind of makes it our special thing when I pull it out. We play every day with it and her enthusiasm has never lessened. She can be in another room when I take it out of the cabinet and the second she hears it, she will run into walls in her rush to get to me so we can play! It really is better than just throwing a ball back and forth. She's completely engaged the entire time it's out.
I highly recommend it but just know it's not a normal toy that you can just throw to your dog and walk away. It is an amazing toy to help you bond with your pet.

Great for dogs that need to stay busy
Style: Original
My dog absolutely loves this ball. It is a little noisy so we take it out in the yard and let her play with it there. I highly recommend it if you have a dog that get bored easily. This will surely keep them busy.

Fun for the Dogs and Kids
Style: Original
My dog seems to love this ball. Super sturdy for an aggressive chewer. Easy to play with. Makes the tube sound when it rolls which keeps the dogs attention well. Super fun. It’s made out of hard plastic so it’s not soft at all. Can take this anywhere.

A must have for active dogs
Size: Max Size, Size: Max Size
I normally do not write reviews unless a product is really good or really bad.
I have a dog that thinks chasing balls is the only thing in life and unfortunately she has a mom that has anchor pins in both shoulders.
We've been using this ball launcher for little over a year. It goes through about 32 dirty balls, 3 times a day and has held up amazingly. It is even full of dirt and still keeps on working, it looks like R2D2 went thru a battle. 😆
I recently bought a second one as a back up because I can't believe this poor thing hasn't given up yet.
I rotate the balls because my dog brings them back wet and muddy, then they won't launch as far, so I knock some dirt off of a dry one and launch it.
I would highly recommend this for active dogs.
