DMD 12mm AMPS Navigation Mount Long - Special EditionInitially this mount was supposed to be something only for the DMD demo motorcycles, they knew it would be an extremely complex piece. DMD contacted one of their favourite designers, who is also a rider and a DMD user, and they worked for weeks to find a design that would celebrate the brand. DMD wanted a bracket that would have minimal visible screws, an adjustable AMPS plate where no screws would be visible. They wanted it light, with just 7. 5cm
Initially this mount was supposed to be something only for the DMD demo motorcycles, they knew it would be an extremely complex piece.
DMD contacted one of their favourite designers, who is also a rider and a DMD user, and they worked for weeks to find a design that would celebrate the brand.
DMD wanted a bracket that would have minimal visible screws, an adjustable AMPS plate where no screws would be visible. They wanted it light, with just 7.5cm from the 12mm bar to the AMPS plate surface. They wanted it with a very special decor, carved on the aluminium surfaces.
This mounting bracket is the result, a bespoke piece that will probably only be manufactured in small quantities, designed and made in Portugal, just like the DMD2 app!
Initially these were not going to be for sale but after showing the photos to some DMD users, they were asked to make more units and sell it. So, if you want a rather “rare” piece that celebrates DMD, this is it, something worthy of any demo build!
It is by far the lightest 12mm mount available – Only 100g! Other brackets start at around 200g.
Increases distance from device holder to 12mm bar by approximately 70-75mm.
