Laser Motorcycle Fork Cap Socket - for BMW S1000 8023The BMW S1000RR from 2015 was one of the first superbikes to be made publically available with Dynamic Damper Control (DDC). The use of DDC requires the use of specially shaped fork top caps on one fork (left hand fork). The design of this fork cap can make removing it a challenge. The Laser 8023 fork top socket has been designed to allow BOTH left and right fork caps to be removed without scratching them or damaging the sensor adjuster wires. NOTE:

The Laser 8023 fork top socket has been designed to allow BOTH left and right fork caps to be removed without scratching them or damaging the sensor/adjuster wires. NOTE: Always loosen the top yoke (triple trees) fork tube clamps before attempting to loosen the caps.
Designed for the removal of both left and right 32mm Hex caps without damage.
Applications include: S1000RR (from 2015) fitted with DDC suspension.
Designed to fit BMW fork cap part number 31428540899.
Made from strong and durable Polyoxymethylene (POM) plastic to prevent damage to the cap surface.
Equipped with 1/2" drive and 27mm Hex drive to allow use of 1/2" drive sockets or 27mm spanner.
