Description
The Hapstone Premium CBN Sharpening Stones are designed to take your sharpening experience to the next level. Crafted with a metal-organic bond, these stones exhibit wear resistance similar to metal while offering a softer sharpening experience. They are perfectly suited for sharpening both modern "super steels" and ceramic knives, making them a versatile choice for any enthusiast or professional. The stones are securely mounted on anodized blanks made of high-quality aviation aluminium, ensuring long-lasting performance.
Sharpening knives with Hapstone Premium CBN Stones provides a range of benefits that enhance your sharpening experience. The stone offers a comfortable and efficient working surface, often compared to Japanese water stones but with ten times more durability. These CBN stones are low-maintenance and do not require additional care or the application of cutting fluids (coolants), setting them apart from natural and synthetic sharpening stones.
The delicate processing of the CBN grains ensures productive sharpening without leaving unwanted scratches on the cutting edge of the knife. The octahedron-shaped crystal structure of CBN provides more cutting edges and a superior mirror finish. The set includes stones of different grit sizes (150x24x5mm, with a 3mm thickness of the working layer), allowing you to switch stones depending on the stage of processing without changing the knife sharpening angle.
The high performance of CBN for knife sharpening is achieved through the concentration of 100% CBN grain of CBN1 type. This concentration ensures exceptional sharpening results, bringing out the best in your blades.
