The Venture Canopy:

Standard: 

  • Central Lock & Electric Lift-Up Side Windows
  • Without Door Handles, the Key-Fob or E-switch button will help you to unlock the rear door and side windows.
    • Double click on the remote control will open the rear door. Close the car and all Canopy windows are locked as well.
  • Rear-Door Spoiler
  • Roof Rail, mounted on a strong internal steel frame providing top class loading capacity.
    • Carry capacity 100 KLG Dynamic/Driving and 300 KG Static.
  • Wide opening front window with ventilation possibility.
  • Led Interior Lightning
  • Non-Drill Clamp Fitting + Plug & Play Wiring Harness
  • Choose between 2 Color Variants being
    • the classic Full-Body Color one or
    • the partly Body Color with a Black Roof, Spoiler and D-Pillar.

Options available:

  • Optional Cross bars for the Roof Rail, to cater all popular roof carrying possibilities
  • A "Slide window in the Lift-Up Side Window", which can be installed within a FEW minutes to give more fresh air into the canopy

Important Note:

Ford Motor Company has published advice that tub reinforcing brackets (J-Braces) must be fitted when installing both OEM and aftermarket tub-mounted accessories to the Next-Gen Ford Ranger (July 2022+). Based on this, we recommend that the following action is taken when fitting a Maxliner Venture Canopy to a Next-Gen Ranger and the Ford Raptor.

We strongly recommend that the J-Braces are used when installing a Venture canopy to a Next-Gen Ford Ranger and Raptor as per Ford Motor Company's requirements.

The listed part numbers from Ford Motor Company are: VN1WJ27726A for the Ford Ranger and VN1WZ2627726B for the Ford Raptor.

The cover has a layered backing but there is no cushioning or padding like material. That said, it is a very nice sheepskin cover. It was well packed and the sheepskin material itself is soft. It is a good size and nice to sit on. However, I will return as I need some actual padding to make my very firm car seat more comfortable. My rating would have been 5 stars otherwise.

It’s great quality in terms of the fur, but the non-slip aspect lacks.

I wanted this not to provide extra cushion - although it does. I got this more to protect my seats in my sedan because they are tan in color and a suede-type material. So my jeans would bleed blue or black pants ect… would cause problems. It works perfectly for the purpose I wanted it for. I no longer damage my seats, and it does not appear that my pants colors bleed into the sheepskin either. Or at least it’s so minimal I have not noticed. I even spilled a bit of water by accident, and it came off very easily too so that’s a bonus. It’s lacking in the non-slip department. I understand the bottom is designed to be non-slip, and I do utilize the clips that attatched into the seat (the clips just slide out). Despite this is slips often. It’s not a deal breaker, but it was very disappointing. It’s frustrating to re-adjust. The gripping material underneath is not super textured like I thought. The clips not working as indented is also annoying. They don’t provide any gripping it just comes out no matter how hard I push inward. Also, the color I bought is slightly different from what I received. I know colors vary from photo to life, but it seemed like the color was just off a tad. It was supposed to be a lighter beige according to the photo, but it’s darker. Not a deal-breaker again, but something to consider. It was close enough for me. Overall still a good purchase, but depending on why you are buying these things may stand out to you.
