New creamy growth appears on top of triangular stems that can grow up to 3m tall. A definite break from the green cactus tradition. Light: Can tolerate some direct sun as long as it's not during the hottest part of the day. Be careful not to scorch the leaves. Prefers bright indirect light and can tolerate some moderate shade

Water: Water when the soil is completely dry, can allow longer stretches of time between waterings as they are somewhat drought tolerant. In winter reduce watering further allowing for dormancy
