Industrial Metal Fabrication Performance: High-Speed 20V MAX Cordless Circular Saw for Rapid Burr-Free Metal Cutting
The DEWALT DCS373B 20V MAX* 5-1/2 Inch Metal Cutting Circular Saw is a powerhouse engineered for professionals who need to slice through conduit, unistrut, threaded rod, and metal siding with cordless freedom. Driven by a formidable 460 MWO motor that generates 3,700 RPM, this saw provides the high-torque performance required to tackle demanding construction materials. Unlike traditional abrasive wheels, the included 30T carbide-tipped blade produces cool, burr-free cuts, significantly reducing the need for secondary finishing work and improving jobsite safety by minimizing sparks.
Built for the rigors of the jobsite, the DCS373B features a high-strength steel shoe designed to resist chip buildup and provide a stable platform for accurate tracking. Visibility is paramount during precision fabrication; therefore, DEWALT integrated a specialized Sight-Line™ window and a bright LED light with a 20-second trigger delay to ensure your cut line is always clear, even in dimly lit environments. The optimized rubber overmold grip and balanced chassis allow for one-handed operation and maximum control, making it an essential addition to any mechanical, electrical, or plumbing contractor's 20V MAX tool arsenal.
**Battery and charger sold separately.

Pro-Tip: To extend the life of your carbide-tipped blade, never "force" the saw through the cut. Allow the 3,700 RPM motor to do the work at its own pace. Forcing the blade generates excessive heat, which can dull the carbide teeth prematurely. Always ensure the material is properly clamped to minimize vibration for the cleanest possible finish.
