New Tube Design
All new and thick, roto molded plastic tubes. A full 5.5 inch at the throttle body to mate up with the huge KB twin 75mm throttle body and 6 inch at the filter. It also has a new larger Heat Shield with two mounting points and a weather strip that seals to the hood.
With a huge 6 inch opening on the tube we needed a huge filter so we got with S and B and gave them some measurements. We love the tapered flange Design and Powerstack filtered ends of their filters and ended up with a monster 6x9 inch filter, that's a full 8.25 inch across at the base and 5.5 inch at the top. All filters have a molded in screen to keep air flow nice and smooth across the MAF. Finish it off with a silicone coupler and stainless clamps. No Metal Tubing Here!!
Molded In MAF
The best part of this new JLT Super Big Air is the massive 148mm MAF housing molded right in the tube. This not only look great, but the smooth inside makes air flow nice and smooth.
Heat Shield
Roto molded Heat Shield to block engine heat at idle and low speed.
It uses a large area to make sure the filter has tons of cool air.
Tuning
Custom dyno Tuning is Required with this kit.
Finish Options
Standard Finish is an OEM looking black textured plastic.
