Who uses the SG KLR Edition cricket bat? The SG KLR Edition is the signature bat used by Indian batting star KL Rahul. It is designed to complement his elegant stroke play, offering a perfect balance between power and timing.
What grade of willow is used in the SG KLR Edition? This bat is crafted from the "Finest English Willow" (Grade 1), typically featuring approximately 7-9 straight grains and a clean face for superior stroke play and performance.
Is the SG KLR Edition pre-knocked? While the bat is hard-pressed and tested for usage against a leather ball, it is not fully game-ready. We highly recommend a full manual knocking-in process (minimum 10,000 knocks) to compress the fibers and protect the bat before match use.
What is the sweet spot position on this bat? The KLR Edition features a mid-to-low sweet spot profile. This provides a large hitting area that is ideal for classic drives, front-foot shots, and controlled aggression.
What is the weight range of the SG KLR Edition? The bat generally weighs between 1160 and 1200 grams (approx. 2lb 9oz to 2lb 11oz). It features a traditional round cane handle for superior grip and a balanced pickup.
