ARTIST BIO

Artist Michael Kagan uses thick, deliberate brush strokes that convey a decisive hand and the power of his subject matter. You might know his artwork best from the cover of the new 'White Lies’ album, “Big TV”, which won the top prize of Best Art Vinyl of 2013.

Kagan has also collaborated with Pharrell Williams and Mr. Williams’ company, Billionaire Boys Club. He holds an MFA from New York Academy of Art (2005), where he was also awarded a postgraduate fellowship (2005-6). In 2009 Kagan was included in a four person show with Donald Baechler, Will Cotton, and Andrew Radcliffe at Eden Rock Gallery in St Barthélemy, FWI. Kagan has also exhibited at Allegra LaViola Gallery in New York, Charles de Jonghe in Brussels and his solo exhibition, 'Thunder In The Distance', is currently on view at Joshua Liner Gallery in New York, NY.

I really really wanted to enjoy this book and was looking forward to reading it. However there were just one too many convoluted plot points, sentences just did not flow nicely at times, and I was left with a lot of confusion on my end. I think it has the bones of being a great story but seems like it was rushed and I had to push myself to finish the last of the book and was left with an unsatisfying ending. It’s definitely different from other omegaverse novels I’ve read but not for good reasons. I really think it could be great but needs some serious tweaking and editing before I’d read it again.

I truly was hoping that Nate Jr. would be apart of the pack after the way he treated Astrea bc he truly didn’t deserve it. Though I must say you did a wonderful job or redeeming him as a person. I cried my eyes out when he walked into the story. I was truly terrified he was going to be a bad guy to the end. However you truly did him such a justice by having him realize his faults & having him redeem himself in the most wonderful way. I’m so sad that he didn’t get to hear how much his brother loved him & forgave him before dying. But again you wrote that ending so beautifully & I just can’t express how much I loved this story & how you took a different route than most authors I have read have. You are a remarkable author Cinder Blaze & I thank you generously for creating such a masterpiece.

She had 1 best friend I wish we could have seen a little bit more of their friendship in this book. Her relationship with the male characters was good not to contrived or super instantaneous. And we had some fun plot twists that I didn't expect. I wish we had more of a follow up on the situation with her family her background and her mother who was a wench.
