EPIC Napoleonics is the sixth expansion for GMT's Commands & Colors Napoleonics game system, designed to accommodate larger battles with more units. This expansion introduces two new game systems: the Epic Battles system and the La Grande Battles system. While the scale of the game increases, the historical feel and core rules largely remain consistent with the original system. For the best experience with these new formats, it’s recommended to use the Command card and Tactician card decks from the Generals, Marshals, and Tacticians expansion.

The expansion includes six standard-sized scenarios that highlight key phases of the Battle of Austerlitz (2 December 1805), as well as 12 EPIC-sized engagements and two La Grande Battle scenarios. It also features two double-sided mounted maps: the EPIC side, measuring 11 hexes deep by 20 hexes wide, is nearly double the size of the standard battlefield (9 hexes deep by 13 hexes wide). When combined, the maps form a La Grande battlefield that measures an impressive 11 hexes deep by 26 hexes wide.
