Diabolik – Heists and Investigations is a hidden movement game for 2 to 4 players, where players are divided into two teams: Diabolik and Eva (the Criminals) against Ginko and Morrigan (the Detectives). Inspired by the famous Italian comic series, this game centers around the criminal duo as they plan and execute daring heists using clever disguises and latex masks.

In this "cops and robbers"-style game, Diabolik and Eva navigate the shadows of Clerville, staying out of sight from their adversaries. However, once the Detectives manage to identify the Criminals, the game shifts into an open chase, with the criminals forced to flee across the main board, now visible to all the cops. The game then becomes a strategic puzzle as both teams race to achieve their respective goals.

The Criminals must successfully complete two of the three available heists to win the game. To do this, they must move stealthily, leaving behind traces for the Police to follow. Meanwhile, the Detectives must investigate these traces, and they have the option to call in four additional Police Officers to assist in monitoring every corner of the country.
