With that said, it is important that you, our customer, understand that your body will go through a detox phase when transitioning from an antiperspirant to a natural deodorant. We have found that the average consumer takes approximately 2-4 weeks to fully transition, therefore we broke down the detox journey to a step-by-step process that some natural deodorant users may experience. Antiperspirants block sweat glands, thereby preventing you from sweating. With natural deodorant, your underarms are free to breathe, and you will soon be back to normal but odour free all day, but there is a  transition 'detox' period to go through! 

Here is what to expect if you are switching from an antiperspirant to one of the Kaia Naturals Takesumi Natural Deodorants: 

Week 1 - The activated charcoal in the formula works to pull toxins from the body. 

Week 2 - You may notice a temporary excess of perspiration, and you might smell a little bit. But don't worry! It will just be temporary! For some, the charcoal will do its job this week to neutralize any odour, but for others, it might be a week of transition! If you do notice an excess odour, the use of a charcoal soap in the shower under the arms is a great way to help!

Week 3 - You most likely will be sweating a little bit more than you are used to during week 3. Similar to week 2. But you shouldn't be smelling much :)

Week 4 - You're done! You shouldn't notice any odour or any excess perspiration. You have completed the process and the Kaia Naturals detox stick is now your daily deodorant of choice!
