This DIY cartonnage Kit comes with all cardboard you need to make your own reusable journal cover, as shown in the pictures. The pieces of paper (chipboard and poster board) are precut in the right sizes you need for this project. The refillable notebook cover will measure 8" x 6" closed and will fit on standard 7" x 4 3/8" 1-subject notebooks with 100 sheets (Five star), which can be purchased at most office supply stores, especially at Walmart (see picture). Once you use up the notebook, just remove the cover and place it on another one! Great to keep memories, as a recipe book or take notes. With DIY kits there is no worries about cutting paper! The journal is optional with the kit, but you will need it to make the cover, so, either buy it with us or go to Walmart and buy it there. Fabric is not included.

ONLINE INSTRUCTIONS AVAILABLE! The instruction is a very clear PDF tutorial (eBook) with lots of pictures showing in details step by step to guide you through the whole process (it is not video, it's eBook), no steps missing, no guessing! Inside the kit you will find the password and easy directions to download the instruction to your computer.

For making the cover you will need this kit, two coordinating fabrics (1 fat quarter each), glue (Glue-All from Elmer's), rotary cutter, cutting board, scissors, a small paint roller with tray, paint brush and masking tape. Embellishments like ribbons, elastics are optional materials.

Cartonnage tools (spatula, acrylic spacers and corner tool) will facilitate the process and give a better finishing for your project. Find them in the tools section of the shop.

Perfect Little Heat Press for Patches! 👏
Color: Raspberry
I bought this to apply patches to jerseys and shirts, and it works great! It heats up quickly, applies even pressure, and makes the job so much easier than using a regular iron. It’s compact, easy to handle, and perfect for small projects or detailed work. Definitely a handy little tool to have on hand — neat, efficient, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do! ✅ Why I love it: • Heats up fast and evenly • Compact and easy to use • Perfect for applying patches or small designs • Great alternative to a bulky iron A small but mighty tool — highly recommend! 🔥👕

Great for small to medium heat transfer projects.
Color: Lavender Purple, Color: Lavender Purple
This is perfect for small heat transfer projects. I used a few ready to press designs and it worked pretty well. It is small, portable, lightweight, and has a few heat settings on it. If you are looking to use it for sublimination, it is not the right fit. Tried sublimination and while there was enough heat to transfer some of the image, because of the size, it is really hard to get even, exact pressure over the entire project area which results in uneven, spotty results. All in all, great for small to medium heat transfer projects, and perfect for someone just getting in to heat transfer.

HTVRONT is the competition
Color: Mint
I've never purchased an HTVRONT product that I didn't like. I really like this mini heatpress. It's perfect for pressing small pieces for quilting, or a piece of vynil when a larger press is too much. I like the color and design but more importantly, it heats as it should with no glitches. I have another mini press from a different leading brand and comparitively, this one is the better of the two. I caught it on sale but at regular price I would have still bought it.

Just As Good As Cricut- Half the Cost
Color: Pink, Color: Pink
I had a Cricut mini press, but my mother loved it for her quilting so much that I had given it to her. I learned after that it was a mistake as I used it more than I had realized. When looking back at the price, I could not justify almost $40, so I waited. I have been a user of HTVRONT's other products for years, so I finally gave it a chance. The package came with the mini press neatly resting in a fine quality box, where it is easy to store. It feels sturdy and well made without any weird smells. It has a nice weight to it, but not too heavy. It evenly distributed heat making it easy to apply the HTV onto my project. I was able to easily use it on felt and cotton. I actually prefer it has a dial for temperatures rather than buttons like the cricut. 10/10 would recommend.
