Genasun GVB-8 Custom Voltage Boost MPPT Solar Charge Controller for Lithium Batteries

Advanced MPPT Boost Technology for Off-Grid and Mobile Energy Systems

The Genasun GVB-8 Custom Voltage Boost MPPT Solar Charge Controller is engineered for applications where the solar panel voltage is lower than the battery voltage. Unlike conventional controllers that step down voltage, this unit efficiently boosts power from a lower-voltage panel to charge a higher-voltage lithium battery pack. This capability allows the use of larger, more cost-effective panels, reducing overall system expense while maintaining high performance.

Designed and manufactured in the USA, the GVB-8 is built for mission-critical reliability. It has been proven in the world’s most demanding environments—from years at sea to harsh Antarctic winters and high-altitude solar-powered aircraft. Each controller undergoes comprehensive electrical testing to ensure dependable operation when it matters most.

High-Speed MPPT: 15 Hz Tracking for Dynamic Conditions

Not all MPPT controllers are equal. Many use a slow sweep-and-sleep method, scanning the voltage range every 30 to 60 seconds. This approach is adequate for stationary panels under clear skies but falls short in mobile or variable conditions. The Genasun GVB-8 features a 15 Hz MPPT tracking speed, adapting to changing light 15 times per second. This ensures maximum energy harvest during cloud transients, on moving vehicles, and in partial shading—capturing power that slower controllers miss.

Precision Charging for Lithium Batteries

The GVB-8 employs a computer-controlled constant-current/constant-voltage (CC/CV) charge profile tailored for lithium batteries. This precise regulation optimises charge cycles, extends battery lifespan, and maximises usable capacity. The custom voltage output is factory-set to your specified level, ensuring a perfect match for your lithium battery bank.

Key Features

  • Boost topology enables charging from panels with voltage below the battery
  • 8 A rated panel input current supports panels up to 150 W (with ~155 mm cells)
  • 15 Hz MPPT tracking for superior performance in dynamic light
  • 95–99% typical electrical efficiency minimises energy loss
  • 99%+ tracking efficiency ensures near-perfect power point accuracy
  • Wide 5 V minimum panel voltage for flexible panel selection
  • Low night consumption (as low as 5 mA) preserves battery charge
  • Compact, lightweight design (14 x 6.5 x 3.5 cm) for easy integration
  • IP40 environmental protection suitable for protected installations
  • Made in the USA with full electrical testing for reliability

Durable and Reliable Construction

Housed in a robust black enclosure with integrated mounting flanges, the GVB-8 is designed for secure installation in a wide range of applications. Multicolour LED indicators provide clear status feedback for Standby, Charging, Full, and Error states, simplifying system monitoring and troubleshooting. Screw terminals accept up to 4 mm² (approx. 12 AWG) wiring for secure, low-resistance connections.

Versatile Applications

The Genasun GVB-8 is ideal for off-grid and mobile systems where panel voltage constraints exist. Typical uses include:

  • Charging 12 V lithium batteries from lower-voltage solar panels
  • Marine and RV installations with limited panel space
  • Remote monitoring and telemetry systems
  • Portable solar generators and field equipment
  • Custom voltage requirements for specialised lithium packs

With its advanced boost MPPT technology and proven durability, the Genasun GVB-8 delivers efficient, reliable charging in the most challenging conditions. Whether you’re powering a remote sensor, a marine electronics suite, or a mobile workstation, this controller ensures your lithium batteries receive optimal charge from every available watt of solar energy.

Power Your System with Confidence

Choose the Genasun GVB-8 Custom Voltage Boost MPPT Solar Charge Controller for your next project and experience the difference that high-speed tracking and precision charging make. Order today to keep your lithium batteries performing at their best, wherever your installation takes you.

So good!
Format: Kindle
The regret they had was so well written and not having the FMC give in so quickly was a good change from most of these type of books.

Hardcore bullying and mistreatment to HEA
Format: Kindle
First off the men do not know she is their scent match. This does not excuse the way the treated her. These men bought her in hopes of using and unregistered Omega to get info on the Omega they might as kids.  Every single one of these characters has been abused growing up. The men think she is just some spoiled princess and their way to find someone they have been searching for. What they don't expect is to slowly find themselves drawn to her more and more but not understanding why.  These men starting acting weird and possessive but never suspected why. Once they discover the truth they have to work really hard to make it up to her. Especially after she put them in contact with the Omega they had been looking for then she ran.  I definitely felt for these men as their story was revealed. I definitely wanted to hold them and promise they were safe now.  That little surprise at the end I definitely didn't expect but it was fantastic.

Rights Didn't Balance the Wrongs
Format: Kindle
Eva was sold to a pack as an unregistered Omega by her own father. Unwanted. They wanted her as a means to an end, not for who she was. But she knows the truth. They are her scent matches. They don't realize that because of the suppressants she is on. It's better this way. They would be slaves to biology if they knew, and now she knows the truth. Eva will gain her freedom, and when she does, she will make sure they realize exactly what they lost. I love a rejected mate's story with a good redemption arc. Bring on all the groveling. This wasn't as satisfying as I had hoped for. Too much spice, too little story. There was little romance, affection, or redemption. Consent was questionable. And Eva's fears about biology weren't disproven. The Alphas were controlled by their scent match, and Eva was no better. The Alphas didn't have any character growth. It wasn't only their "Omega" but all of the women they entertained in the house. Even sitting on the couch would have sent an Omega into hysterics. The house and furniture were ruined. Wrongs were done - trafficking, abuse, captivity, dubious sexual encounters. There weren't enough rights to balance out the wrongs, so the Alphas stayed ruined. There were no swoon-worthy declarations or actions. There were some gifts and some redecorating, but most was off-page. Where was the over-the-top shopping trip and romantic gestures? Where were the intimate conversations? Did they ever gain Eva's trust? I'm not even sure "I love you's" were exchanged by everyone. Was there love or only scent? I don't know, so this story was not a success for me.

Amazing read!!
Format: Kindle
Where to begin. I loved this book. The characters had a way of pulling you in and making you holding your breath at the same time. I absolutely loved the fmc. Eva has a way of being vulnerable but strong. She is unwilling to give up. The mmc’s are truly horrible at the beginning. With that being said, I still found myself rooting for them. Over time you could them changing and how even when they wanted to hate her they just couldn’t find it in them. A truly remarkable love came from a terrible beginning. Loved it!
